I came in town for a photoshoot An to meet Tyler Perry only Bec I have him on my vision board, well…..I wasn’t able to meet him and I’m very sad about that.😩 I was told due to Covid which is damnear over with that they’re not doing the tour’s right now so I had to sit An take pictures outside. The place looked very nice with a water fall. I am happy that I at least was able to see the place, just wished I was able to meet the one An only Mr. Perry. I won’t lie I was working up a plan on how to get past security…. I wanted to run pass security in my heels An all just to get in but it took everything in me to stay seated on the bench next to the waterfall. I ended up leaving but I’ll def be back an hope the next time I’m able to meet him An do the tour at least.

My friend and I have made 3 trips from Grand Rapids, MI in an effort to to tour Mr. Perry's studio. We have not been successful, but I took advantage of the grounds we were able to enter and got some nice photos of me and my grandsons.
The security guard was very nice and even took pictures of us. I feel a sense of pride and overwhelming joy when each time I visit because of what the studio was before Mr. Perry transformed it into hopes and dreams for our people (and others).
God is so amazing. We have the victory through our Faith, and Mr. Perry is a man of unshakeable faith in an unshakeable God.
I will be leaving here on Aug 30th, but before I go, I will again visit Tyler Perry (and the people) studios, in an attempt to go inside, if only for a peek.

Great place to work on a show. They are strict on who can get in and where, which can be annoying at times, but you are never worried about someone breaking into or harming your belongings.

I am not sure. Last year I drove to Atlanta but upon stopping at Tyler Perry Studios you have to go through the security gate first and security said the studios were still under construction so there were no tours until they finished construction and to just check back on the tyler perry website for ticket prices and tour info. However that was about a year ago and I see the studios are done with no ticket prices or info listed on the site so I don't know maybe try calling to see if they can give you more info.

There are quite a few lots that do not offer tours. CBS Radford and Television City, the FOX (Pico) lot never have offered tours. Just because Tyler Perry is a "name" does not mean he needs to open his studio to the public.
I used to be in the rehab facility for veterans there at Fort McPherson right next to the studio. I know a good spot you could sneak in, but security is pretty tight. There's a pretty big green fence all the way around the studio. But they missed a couple of spots. 😉

@Meme&Me, according to the security guards there never have been any tours at the Studio. You can take a picture in front of the jumbo tron inside the gat and a picture of the sign outside. They only let you go so far. Very strict and secured. The police guard said do not purchase any tickets online because it's all a scam as well as the touring part. Thankfully we did not purchase any tickets.
Studios have private tours, as far as I am aware. I personally have not met anyone who has a public tour there. Next time I am there, I will ask security.

No. Not that I’m aware of. Just rented out/used for movies/shows. Studios aren’t used for that stuff. Plus they are super tight on security.

Mr. Perry doesn't "just do" open auditions at his studios. He has a company that handles that for him. You will have to look them up in the Atlanta area and send them an email or give them a call. Perhaps post a youtube video. He sometime catches talent there also if he likes it!
We were at the Atlanta studio in April and we were told that they do not offer tours anymore.
