This was a great stop over park to spend a few nights near Metropolis or Paducah. Good sized parkland and wildlife were abundant. Noise from the river but not too bad considering proximity. Price was fantastic. The RV park and camping were great with big sites and dump station. Newer comfort station. Could be better only if there was some kind of security and full hook up sites.

Very pleasant place to explore and learn local history. Community does a great job of keeping the grounds clean. The view all around was fantastic!

Everybody goes to Metropolis for the Superman statue and museum, but this park is a gem that has lots to offer from beautiful picnic areas, camping, and the historical Fort Massac itself. A stop here on the way in or out of Metropolis will not disappoint!

Tent camping is ok. They have showers. Not sure on the cost.
Metropolis, Fort Massac is not doing fireworks this year unfortunately
I am not sure about camping but I do know all the rates in the state are very inexpensive. . please enjoy your stay and learn about the rich history of the area
