As a 40+ year member gotta say the roadside assitance is nowhere near what it used to be. Been left stranded several times recently . Very hard to get a hold of and the online call is sketchy. Was left at scene for sveral hours and finally got through and they said there was no call out. Went in to let a supervisor know and no one ever got back to me. I still have aaa but also have a back up service now as i cannot count on them any longer .

Love doing my DMV stuff with these guys 🙏

Scandalous and horrible to their long-term customers. I sat on the side of the road with a flat in 102 degree weather with my 9 year old for 7 (YES SEVEN) hours for AAA and they NEVER CAME. Additionally they stole $300 from me when I canceled my auto insurance (found a much cheaper carrier) with them. They said if you cancel within a year (been a member for over 15 years) you get charged. Top it off I actually called 2 weeks before canceling and asked when the best time was to cancel and start my new insurance... they never said anything about stealing money from me then! Only later. What a piece of junk outfit!

They were very good about keeping social distancing while also addressing the needs of each person. I felt as though I was treated with respect and not rushed at all as I took care of my membership renewal and my car registration which involved changing of my license plates. The person who took care of me was helpful and friendly showing lots of patience with me. I am thankful that AAA is so helpful and efficient at performing their services!

Do you have Driver Licience test books of testing?
can i get passport photos
Yes, Ask about an "umbrella" package that combines life, house, and vehicle policies.
I'm not sure
Not sure about that, but I would give them a call to find out
Yes
I just asked... unfortunately they can't... ID and DL changes are handled only By DMV. ;)
No they cannot. Replacement is only issued by DMV.
According to their website, yes you can get passport photos taken there.
It couldn't hurt, but if you go in there they will get you somebody right away
There are handicap parking by the entrance to the building at the AAA TO office.
I walked right in. There was nobody in line.
I am not sure...
Yes they do. As long as the name on the title is the same as the one on the AAA account.
The auto club doesn't maybe a lockshmihpp
Iam not a home owners my self so I would not know sorry . Ask goolge they know everthing .
I don't know. I went to renew registration and change license plates.
Yes.
They can take the pictures
No drivers license. Yes to plates
No you show up and wait outside for staff to help. Remember to have the VIN number for the car the plates came off of.
Hey. Me I pay all my DMV fees through AAA. you can pay any fees to AAA but copy of your title I'm not sure. Its fast and walk in good too.
I don't think so
AAA OONLY DOES VEHICLE REGISTRATION. I WOULD TRY V CA.GOV GO TO FORMS. HOPE THAT HELPS.
Several years ago, I obtained a handicap placecard from AAA.
No, they can't do that. DMV issues only!
DMV's contract with Automobile Club of Southern California only allows for payment by cash or check. NO debit or credit cards. Best regards LaTonya.
Fri. 9-5
Depends. Were the plates lost or stolen? Is the car registered in your name or his? Does the address on your drivers license match the address on the registration? Only the registered car owner can sign the document requesting replacement plates and a valid DL with a matching address to the registration must be presented. Also, the DMV contract requires that there be an active, valid membership with AAA for the registered owner of the vehicle. Hope that helps you.
Sorry I'm not sure. Call the Thousand Oaks office. Thay can get you the correct answer.
No. AAA does take passport photos for a fee that varies based on level of membership.
Yes. Make sure to bring appropriate identification and if the document requires witnesses to bring your own who are not related and cannot benefit from the documents... Impartial witnesses.
Robert is right, AAA can do the registration, tags, name change, they rock! Go early, not during prime time.Gets busy, but better than DMV!
If you are not yet a member of AAA I would suggest buying a membership. They can do most DMV transactions witch to me is worth the cost of the membership. Who wants to deal with DMV?
If you need their number you can just ask. Or Google it.
Nitify them of sale, clear the books.
Just call them...
Yes, . Cars in CA must have one. Check with AAA first , for state law. They r great to work with.
No. The DMV's contract with AAA only allows AAA to process DMV transactions for active, paid members. The active membership name(s) must be the same as those on the registration. Hope that helps you.
Yes cash or check. No credit or debit cards.
Everyone is correct. Checks and cash but no plastic.
AAA cannot renew driver's license. You need to renew online or in person at the DMV.
I would call your local office and give them all the details for a proper answer. I know that you can suspend a policy but then while in storage something happens to your vehicle you have no protect. I use my mom's car in another State and suspend the insurance 2-3 times a year but keep some Comprehensive coverage on her car in place.
