This is a decent 3 star hotel right across the LA River from Long Beach and near the Port of Long Beach. I stayed here for one night with 6 family members and we all had a nice stay here. The views from the higher floors are very nice as you get a view of downtown Long Beach as well as the port of Long Beach. The room we stayed in included a kitchenette which is very nice and convenient. The rooms, including the bathroom, are nice and clean. And one of the best features of this hotel is the breakfast, which is served every morning and they had many breakfast items to select from. Overall, it was a nice relaxing stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 3 star hotel in the Long Beach area.

Unfortunately I will not be returning again. Initially, I had high hopes for this stay. We had a 2-room 2 bath hotel stay planned for the Fourth of July, and a guaranteed view of the Queen Mary from our, once again, guaranteed high room. Come 2 hours before our 3pm check in, we receive a call stating that our room check in will be delayed, for 3:30-4:00. And that's okay! I always look forward to delays for cleaning as it means better quality rooms. However, once arriving at the hotel at around 3:50, we had another delay. I dismissed it, however eventually added up, and by the time we got in our room, it was 6pm. A total waste of time. However, what made me write this review isn't the wait time. A wait is a wait and sometimes we have to cope with it. No, what made me write this review was that we didn't even get the room we were promised. After a near 3/½ hour delay, we got a room with no view, and on the second floor. A complete 180 from what we asked. We then got our room switched for one with a view, but it's no longer a suite, instead just a casual room. We wasted time and energy for a room we didn't even want. Definitely won't be coming here again.

This property is one of many Residence Inn by Marriott. The hotel is located by the public boat ramp and is close to the busy working port of Long Beach. Staff is pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast is certainly not what these properties used to offer, and consists of a couple of individually wrapped (previously) frozen selections as well as the typical cold options (e.g., fruit ,yogurt, cereal etc.). The pool is small but inviting as is the outdoor seating area. Be aware this property is a bit set apart from some of the other City hotels and restaurants, but this is either a positive or negative, depending on personal preference.

Love this hotel! Fantastic views and great staff! I could sit in our room or the living room area and stare out the windows looking at the view all day! The hotel is extremely clean. Everything works flawlessly. Wish our time here was longer!

No hotel airport shuttle however there is a public lax to long beach shuttle which leaves in front of each terminal. It costs about $10 payable on arrival in long beach. There is also a free hop on hop off bus in long beach which stops right outside the hotel.
About $23.00 a day. However, when we were there they had gate issues so you just told them your card is not working.
There is no shuttle from the hotel. . .but there are plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Pine Street is about a 15-20 minute walk.
No resort fee
