Great experience. It was my first time at this campsite. Colin was the host and is a great guy! Love his energy! The campsite itself was spread out and have trails everywhere. I personally loved that fact. If you have kids there's plenty of room for them to roam! The amount of trails is so impressive and just gives you freedom to ride!! I will definitely be back every year!! Hope this place is on your list, you will not regret it!

FLAT ROCKS is officially open for the year!! Woo Hoo! The camp host this year is named Colin and he is fantastic. If you decide to stay here tell Colin Jodi said hello!!! He has great stories to tell and he is an amazing person. This campground is first come first serve paid camping area in Rampart Range (Pike National Forest). 22.00 a night and the camp host sells wood for 6.00 a bundle. Two restrooms on-site that are cleaned multiple times a day. It’s a nice, beautiful and quiet retreat from dispersed camping. ATV and dirt bikes welcome - be mindful and follow the 5mph in/out as not to disturb others! Every year this is our go to place for a great time with incredible views and enjoying some R & R. Hope you visit and enjoy as much as we do!

Nice little spot. No water right now so bring plenty. Got plenty of shade at our site thought the day. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. They also give you space which not all hosts do so is highly recommend them. Bathrooms were clean and smelled decent during our entire stay. Only down side of the site is all the dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. If you go in knowing it, you won't be disappointed.

Nice spot! $22 night though. Outhouses, water, and dumpster. Free camping nearby off the main road.

Most of the campsites have a fire ring with a grill grate, and if you bring a camp stove or grill you can use those at the sites as well. Just be aware of current fire conditions for what is and isn't allowed at a given time.
Worth a shot No water so sites are 1/2 price at $11
No electricity
The host camper is in the first spot on the left when you pull in. I do believe you can still pay if host ain't there. Look for envelopes and a drop box. Hope it helps. Enjoy, we did.
Actually we just came Saturday and there was a lot of free spots. If u came before noon and you will find a spot.
The Forest Service limits stays to 2 weeks maximum. There are no other rates than daily fees (2020 is $22 per night). Hope this helps.
