Great trail, lots of up and downs but makes a great short hike that still gives you a workout. Views were gorgeous and I ended up by the river watching the fly fisherman and swimmers. Dirt road to get to parking lots.

Almost entirely in the sun and got a heat stroke on this hike. If you hike the whole thing bring tonsss of water. View's pretty and you can see the dam, saw some wildlife too

A nice hidden place that doesn't seem to be too popular. (Maybe it was because I went on a Tuesday morning.) A well maintained trail with great views of the Reservoir. The road that leads to the trailhead is about 3 miles of dirt and gravel. Some of the areas get narrow and you might have to yield to oncoming traffic. Also, portions of the road get a little rough. Good suspension is recommended.

Spectacular views and the river is gorges ;). The hike down to the river is decent. Be ready to hike back up. But as someone who's not in the best of shape, it was doable and worth it by far.
