The casino floor is good overall. It has a fun atmosphere and I usually have a good time when I visit. The hotel rooms are nice and the beds are fairly comfortable. However, it would be nice if they had a microwave in them to go with the refrigerator. My main complaint is that the casino floor maintenance team isn't very responsive. I had to sit at a video table that had locked up for about half an hour before someone could come by and fix it so I could get my money out. Also, the restaurants are either closed or have odd hours during most weekdays so the best time to visit if you want everything available to you is Friday and Saturday.

I absolutely love The Isle. I don't stay anywhere else. I can always find a close parking spot, the casino is great, the dealers are personable, waitresses are always nice and come around often. The hotel is always super clean and the people at the front are always friendly. At the times I go it's never insanely busy like the other places around can get. I love the location right at the start of the little strip of casinos. If the slots aren't rolling your way, you literally have all of Blackhawk ahead of you. I think I get the best offers here at The Isle. I seem to always have a free night or two, generous slot play and food credits.

First time coming up to black hawk to gamble. 90% staff in the gambling area of the Isle were just straight up rude. They all seemed like they hated their jobs and did not want us to be there. We got carded every 5min which is fine but it got to the point where we're were belittled for being young. The dealers at the tables were horribly rude to us, for our first time gambling and playing at a table they said rude comments. They were very snotty when I asked a question. They were not busy at all! you would think that they would want to take my money and be tipped because of a good first time experience. I ended up playing black jack at one of the computers and man it was way better than having to deal with their rude and entitled dealers. Mainly senior citizens, which I don't mind but the waitresses ignored us multiple times and would take the orders of people around us. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness at the free drink station, the soda was also flat the whole time we were there. We will not be back to the Isle. Do not come here if you are young and looking to learn about the gambling world or just to have a good time. Trust me we tried. The Monarch was way busier when we paid a visit and now I can see why.

We waited in line in a Sunday night for quite awhile at the farm to table restaurant. Once seated the service was going fine, but after we ordered chicken tenders and a french dip, we waited for over an hour before finally getting our meal. The sauce for the chicken had been left under a heat lamp for quite awhile so it wasn't good when it got to our table. The waiter never asked to refill any coffee or water. We were very unhappy with the experience. Next time we will just order a salad which might be served timely.
