Very cool spot. Just don’t know how you get away with charging $20 a head every night for mediocre live bands. I guess they’re the only player in town. Definitely a cool spot tho and worth a visit. Just not the type of place a regular can pop in for a drink because of the cover. We had a group of ten who were coming by Saturday. They wanted $200 for us to walk thru the doors yet we just wanted to hop around. Doesn’t make sense for that. We dipped.

Went here for the first time last night. If I could give this place 10 starts, I would. From the vibe, to the decor & beautifully designed space, to the the bartenders and the talent (i.e., Scott and Rob) this place is top notch and by far the best music venue in Vail. Great music... such a fun place!

Great hideaway in Vail Village, You are in for a special treat when you stop here. The owner Scott and his house band are among some of the best musician's there is and a lot if fun to watch. The musical talent at the Shake Down will blow your mind! I love this place.
