My experience at Victory Career College was wonderful. I recently graduated the 720 Hour Massage Therapy course, and have learned so much from Mr. David & Ms. Karine about both massage techniques & running a business. They were so helpful and supportive. I was able to fit school into my schedule and the tuition was reasonable. I *highly* recommend this school to anyone looking to get a massage therapy license!

The legal name is W INDULGENCE LLC and does business as Victory Career College(VCC). I didn't deal with just one person while I was attending VCC. Karine Fougoux is the director/owner, and the biggest issue here is that she is hiring unqualified instructors and trying to cut corners and save money for herself. Some dont speak English, others aren't experienced and some are both. And one allows students who are not fluent in the English language to cheat on exams and plagiarize on papers. There were no lesson plans prepare, we were constantly watching Youtube videos and being told to should be reading the book on our own. Nowhere in my contract did it state that classes would be held in a language other than English. How I can learn if I can't communicate with my instructor or classmates? Class started 9/24/14 and it ended 9/27/14. Sunday, all three students that had enrolled, asked for a full refund. Fougoux gave one girl a refund of everything except her book, and the last two, classmate and I, went to speak with her on Monday the 29, and she refused to see us together. I didnt feel comfortable considering all the contractions/inconsistencies by her and her staff. She ended up calling the cops on me because I wouldnt leave since I didnt want to see her alone. My classmate is a witness that at no point did I scream or threaten her, she actually started yelling at me. I am sick, and I realized I didnt need stress like that. I asked her to call the cops, and then I waited outside. I feel she thought she was going to scare me by telling me that she was going to call the cops. I didn't do anything wrong. She waited 43 days to send me my refund of what she thinks Im entitled, because she said that the contract gives her entitlement to 45 days. In less than 4 days of class, she feels entitled to keep $1,612.32, plus money I paid for the massage therapy classes. I finally realized it wasn't me, she just hires unqualified people. I attended this school during the heat wave, she would turn off the A/C because she said it was "too cold," when in fact she wasn't even in the room, while we practiced massage. The kit wasn't even complete, missing metal case and makeup kit. In fact, she herself cut the orange zip tie the bag had, in addition to ripping open a part of kit it was a program by a man named Raphael Perriers', she ripped open the envelop and wrote down the codes for "her file." If I pay for a program, she shouldn't be taking my access code or any other information for herself or records. The kit did not come with a metal kit, it was given to us in a big brown box and in a big luggage that the handle broke when carrying it the first night. The "dedicated and experienced staff and faculty" Mrs. Karine Fougoux (college director/owner) says I've made "false accusations" about are on record and documented by the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department and by her own current catalog, Yulia Chekan, Thiyibhat "Birdy" Sitthiwong, Ruth Peña, and Monique Soeur no longer work at Victory Career College. According to paperwork Sheriffs Department sent me, they were told that Thiyibhat "Birdy" Sitthiwong, "Defendant was discharged, Nov 8,20014; Yulia Chekan left on Nov 19, 2014. There are TWO official law suits against this business. Small claims court, case number:14M09272. The second was done by the other student that didn't receive her refund either. I've never made any personal attacks, she attempted to get restraining orders but the officer told her that I didn't do anything wrong and it was a small claims court matter, which I agree. The officers seemed annoyed to be there, no report was done and definitely no signed statements by witnesses. In actuality, while I waited outside for the cops, 2 ladies from the class came out and tried to comfort me. I was later told by my classmate that Mrs. Karine Fougoux order the students not to speak to me. At the end, we will face a judge on the 13th of January and wait for her/him to decide. But the public needs to know of the unethical practices of Mrs. Karine Fougoux.

I took my mom here when she was visiting from out of town! The massage therapists are absolutely wonderful! I went to Amy and she was very respectful, made sure I had the pressure I wanted, and was very knowledgeable on pressure points, knots, she even stretched my body, and helped with popping my back. Felt amazing! Oh and you can’t beat the price! It’s $20 cash for a full hour! The only drawback is that it can be a bit loud at times with other people talking outside. But when no one is talking, they have wonderful music playing and it is very relaxing! Thanks Victory College!
