It's nice. We went at season's end but it was still a good u-pick experience. Staff were nice, and accommodating.

I wanted to visit a lavender farm for so long. Finally my dream came true this year (June 26). It was an hour long drive and very very hot weather. We arrived on time and were provided tickets for the lavender bunch. Plenty of parking place was available. Once we selected our lavender bunches we went to take some pictures. The lavender was in perfect bloom and ready for harvest. Bees were there but not bothersome. We had some refreshing lavender lemonade and spent some quality time with the family.

Beautiful lavender farm, you get varieties of fresh and dried lavender flowers to buy. You can also roam around the farm and take cute pictures

Folks are helpful and friendly. There are nice home made sitting tables around the farm and some shades including table/umbrella. I would give 5 stars but our online reservation was 3pm but the farm does not open until 3:30pm. There were 4 cars waiting in the front gate which was closed..we kept ringing and calling the business phone but to answer until a landscaping personal came to open the gate using his code. Thanks to the dude... I hope he doesn't get in trouble for letting us in.

The best time is May - June if you are looking to see the lavender in bloom! However, we always have events going on :) https://www.aracelifarms.com/pages/events

If I only have an hour, is that enough time to visit the farm before it closes

Yes... plenty of time. it's small. They have the plants, a store selling all different lavender items and sometimes they sell refreshments. It's nice and relaxing. If you had longer, you could relax at the picnic tables, bring lunch/snacks and play cornhole but an hour is more than enough to see everything and buy lavender.
