My wife and I have been married for many years. A date for us was usually dinner and a movie. Now that we're a little older, a date is dinner and...Kaiser. While that's our inside joke, it's close to the truth. Our family have been members of the Kaiser Permanente for over 40 years. KAISER PERMANENTE WOODLAND HILLS is part of Kaiser Permanente, a nonprofit medical system that supplies pediatric through senior carring services. The hospital complex has expanded. A new, multi-story, building added four, state-of-the-art operating rooms, an expanded emergency department, with over two dozen single patient treatment rooms, a gift shop, and additional services. Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills has been voted one of the best hospitals in the United States. Our experience agrees. The staff: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, the people who look inside you and the people that take your fluids are friendly, warm, and caring. Little things: Environmental services asks permission to enter your room. Doctors, nurses, dietitians, and a myriad of others show kindness and respect, even when you're miserable and just a bit unpleasant. The Emergency Department and Pharmacy are available 24/7. A cafeteria is located on the lower level. When closed, coin machines dispense a limited selection of drinks and sandwiches. Prices are moderate. There are manicured gardens for a bit of exercise, with tables, chairs, and benches to enjoy a snack or drink. An excellent coffee kiosk, with daytime hours, is located just outside the main entrance. Free self and inexpensive valet parking are offered. Electric vehicle plugins are available on both the first and fourth floors of the parking structure. Weekdays, a free tram carries you from parking to the hospital's main entrance. Everything is ADA accessible. Tonight, my lady and I plan a nice dinner and... ¹ Kaiser's first hospital opened in 1945. The Woodland hills hospital complex, which took 6 years to build, opened in 1986.

Kaiser Permanente is full of doctors and nurses that do not care. I went to Urgent Care to get help over dehydration, I was told to take antibiotics and that they would not give me fluids, even when I told them my lips were breaking because dehydration. This caused me a severe dehydration, damage to my liver and a bill of more than $8,000. Every day I was hospitalized I was asked about symptoms I never had and they wanted to focus on those symptoms even if that was not the reason I was there, wasting time. The room was not cleaned while I was there except for mopping, I had human waste for 3 days on the floor and it was not cleaned. The food was something that not even dogs would eat. I thought Kaiser was a good hospital, but they need to work on communication with the teams, Urgent Care must be revamped or removed completely. Kaiser is awful and a scam at times. I left the hospital not feeling that great because of their incompetence.

I sprained or broke my toe yesterday. I tried to set an appointment to see a doctor, any doctor, but no appointment was available for several days or weeks depending on when you called. They suggested Urgent Care. The wait was one and a half hours for an x-ray and an additional one to two hours to see a doctor. Total wait time: three to five hours, according to the sign at the desk. I asked if I could go for lunch as I hadn't eaten and they told me I might miss my turn. You would think they would at least have a cellphone system set up and notify you when you could be seen, but you're forced to wait in a small room for hours. I ended up leaving, making an appointment with a doctor for ten days later and hoping for the best. They have too many patients and not enough staff. Service has gone downhill.

I was born at Kaiser and loved the provider for many years. Covid is never going to end at Kaiser and they discourage you seeking medical care at the door. I waited three years for a simple procedure, Kaiser Drs miss and over medicated me for three years without first trying the medication the FDA approved for my condition. Woodland Hills family practice is average at best and their orthopedics dept is completely broken. I had three pre op apts for same procedure due to schedulers voice mail being full for 18 days. You have 30 days after your pre op for the procedure if it doesn’t get scheduled you have to do the pre op again. I had three preop’s I was billed for three preop’s while Yuli ( third party scheduler) sat at home for 18 days and left her voicemail full.

The situation with the circle needs attention.. Hopefully someone in charge will take. Notice. I will make it a point to at least advise of the problems this causes.

Drugs can also be ordered on KP.ORG. Of course a physician's prescription must be ordered and must include multiple reorders. Delivery is free. My experience has been it comes in less than a week.
Until 8PM
They dont have a dept L...they have Labor and delivery. They also have a Lower level but no Dept with just a letter L. Hope this answers your question.
Entrance A, 3rd floor for Dr. Bhat.
They have solved the problem with the water main, and I believe the emergency room and Urgent Care have reopened for the weekend, with the rest of the hospital opening on Monday
They have lots of free parking without validaton, and there is also a valet that you have to pay for
The best time to go is after 10 PM. After urgent care has closed.
Til October, I think the sign says.
I believe in the morning 8am to 8pm
Just go to the security office. That is where find lost and found item.
Adults is 9am to 9pm Pediatrics is 5:30p-7pm
No.
I dont know Dear Hospital its big and has diferents areas and has diferents departments the building has diferent towers. It been built like that in case of an earthquake the bulding could be able to be separate from one tower to another. So the building wont colapse at once and saved the hospital. Its also designed anti fire to last about an hour until the firefighters arrive to the scene extinguished it.
When approaching the main hospital building, Entrance A is the first entrance visible from the main pathway coming from the parking garage.
Visit the website Kp.org to find a doctor that’s right for you
Urgent Care is open until 9pm so anything 10pm or later you can at the ER. You can also have cuts/ injuries surgically glued (rather than just an option of stitches) to reduce scarring if the doctor deems it necessary for the said injury/ cut
There is a bin in the pharmacy you can dispose you medication.
You can go to the Kaiser Permanente site and enter his first name and last name
Yes there are charging stations there
Go yo KP.org and sign in. Follow the on screen instructions. Or just call.
Kaiser Permanente is one of largest provider of Medicare services in California.
There are several phamarcies on the property. The 24 hour one is on the first floor off the main entrance.
No, the lab is closed on Sunday. If you need emergency help, the ER lab is open 24/7.
Not sure, probably you can ask your insurance co. Or you can Google.
Call the business office and they'll give you the location of a cashier.
The medical offices are in entrance five of the hospital. There is an information desk just inside the door with a live person who can direct you to the right location.
