It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this park as I strolled through San Francisco a few years ago. I remember this park having some gnarly trees that had a beautiful fragrance. (There is a copse of them near Laguna Street at Marina Drive.) Does anyone know what species they are? I believe they are in the juniper or cedar family, but I would love the opinion of an expert!

Very nice park with amazing views on Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz prison. Ideal for picnics but also for dogs.

There is a Safeway near by. We used to park there.

We used to go to bluesfest there. Signs for parking within a few blocks. Probably cost.
