Highly recommended XLB. Went to have lunch during busy hour and I have a really great experience. Waiters/waitresses are attentive. Food come out quick and the mocktail is yummy. Parking can be a bit of a hassel though.

The hostesses working there a clueless as well as racist. Party of 2 waiting for ages meanwhile they're seating parties of 3 or more behind us, telling us they don't have a table for 2 at the moment! They have no clue how to run a restaurant or they didn't want to seat us bc more revenue gets generated with a larger party... not to mention the food is overpriced and mediacore. Go elsewhere!

Awesome dim sum restaurant! I love dim sum, have had it in MANY places and Palette is fantastic. High quality food, fast service, great atmosphere and it's located in one of the best places to visit in San Francisco. It's not cheap but great.

Yes for inside.. no for outside
Enter and go tothe main fountain at the center of Ghirardelli Square, there you'll see a huge sign for Palette Tea House. When. you walk up to the door, there will be a window with two lines, one for pick-up and one for ordering to-go. The signs are very visible and clear the moment you walk up to the restaurant.
