Horrible pharmacy you are better off going somewhere else. They had me waiting over a week for my prescription. When asked how much longer the order would take since I was waiting for a specific brand to arrive they said they don’t know. They informed me I should switch pharmacies so will do.

I stopped after work for some snacks this Tuesday and was greeted by a Cashier named Olivia. She was very personable and friendly. Most retail/customer service employees fake being nice but I could tell her personality was genuine. It was a really nice customer service experience!

Absolutely horrible service, I waited in an extremely long line only to get to the front of the line and be told that my prescription was ready but not signed off on and the manager was gone on a lunch break. I watched the manager leave in front of me while I was waiting in line. When I asked to speak to a manager some other employee came who stated that they were not a manager. The two employees stood there talking very condescendingly about me, in front of me, to each other. When the manager did finally come the manager told me that he would fill my script however I wasn’t welcome back in HIS Pharmacy. I explained that it was not his pharmacy but yet Walgreens pharmacy and that he TOO had a manager and that customer service goes a long way. He looked as if he had seen a ghost. If you want to be treated with decency, respect and appreciation as a customer DO NOT and I do mean DO NOT waste your time going to this pharmacy.

I wouldn't think to leave a review for a pharmacy, but in case this helps others I am sharing my experience. I typically recieve my dogs medications from Walgreens. My dog was diagnosed with corneal endothelial degeneration, it's similar to Fuchs disorder in humans. Many eye drops and ointments prescribed by veterinarians for dogs, are the same as those used by humans. It is a painful condition, with ulcers that develop on the cornea. Walgreens was out of stock, so I decided to in at the CVS in target west loop, to see if they had any of the ointments prescribed by my dog's doctor since it was an emergency situation with my dog crying in pain. The service I recieved there was terrible, from the staff at the counter to the rude pharmacist. They told me the eye ointment was not in stock, but they could order it. When i asked it they could check the system to see if it was in stock nearby, since my dog is in extreme eye pain, the service person seemed to have no idea what to do, and the pharmacist seemed to be very annoyed at the request and told me it was not a common medication, gave me a phone number, and said good luck. i decided to go ahead and order the medication while was there, after I made a few phone calls, since there wasn't a nearby location that had any in stock. Yet, I was then turned away by the counter staff and the pharmacist because now she said the vet office printed the prescription. This was not acceptable to her and that the doctor was not allowed to print prescriptions. (It was a printed paper prescription noting the medication needed, in which the doctor had signed his name in ink. Who hand writes prescriptions pads these days?) I called the veterinarian office while I was there, both the technician and Doctor were very confused at this but said they would call the pharmacy. I asked them not to and decided to leave given the rude treatment and return to Walgreens who had always accepted the very acceptable and appropriate veterinarian prescriptions. I returned to Walgreens with the same printed prescription and signed by the doctor, and without any phone calls or accusation that my vet or I had done something wrong, kindly checked their system to make sure they couldn't locate it somewhere nearby before ordering it to be ready for my dog on monday. Kudos to Walgreens for treating me with kindness and providing great service to humans and our canine friends.
