Amanda, Glenda, Darin, Marie, Wanda and the Entire Staff were FANTASTIC!!! We loved staying at Misty Mountain Camp Resort. Our first time at the resort and fell in love with the place immediately. We made several more reservations to Comeback and can't wait. Thank you again to everyone at Misty Mountain Camp Resort, Greg & Darby

Well run! Nice people work here and it shows that they work hard. Super clean bathrooms and showers. The only complaint is the beautiful tile floors are crazy slippery. Dangerous crazy slippery! Weeknights are quite, weekends are full. There are some primitive sites up on the hill to the left that look nice and remote for a campground, no power, water nearby.

Stayed in the upper campground over Thanksgiving last year and it was amazing. The fall color were gorgeous, the park is clean and well maintained, and the staff was very friendly. We felt that the upper campground was better as most of the sites up there are permanent residents and much quieter. The lower sites seemed more crowded and smaller sites. The only problem is the upper sites take a bit more to level. They have a huge jumping pillow and a playground. Also close to some great outdoor activities. This will be one of our annual fall stays.

Very crowded. Pictures made the cabins look further apart than what they are, which is less than 10 feet. It was quiet at night and families with younger kids looked to really be enjoying fishing in the pond. **And bringing your own linens means EVERYTHING! I would also bring sheet straps to secure the sheet as the mattress had a vinyl cover and the sheets slid off.

Yes, all cabins have heat and a/c. Ones listed as primitive have no running water.
We paid around $55, for one of the newer pull thrus w full hookups. They have a lot of stuff for kids, including a giant bounce pad
I'm sure it is but U better book NOW!! Beautiful there & hope U get 2 go!!
Yea
No, but camp store has beer.
Yes with 10 feet space between parties and 20 people max (should really be 10 people max to do any appropriate social distancing imo).
No. There are some view points. You have to walk and climb hillock some distance to the peak.
Not sure about living all year but yes to the other
Call office. People on here won't know.
Verbatim from the website, Downstairs: Full futon, kitchen table with 2 chairs, TV, fully outfitted kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There is a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs: A ladder leads to an upstairs loft which has 2 rooms w/1 full-size futon bed in each. Outside: Deck, picnic table, fire ring, and water faucet. There is heat and A/C in these cabins. These cabins are pet friendly. Guests must provide their own linens, blankets, pillows and towels. This cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 people.
Looks like we paid $58 per night for full hookup on the weekend in July.
I know of people that are travel workers, that have stayed there for a monthly rate. I'm not too sure if they have a yearly rate. It's worth giving them a call to find out though. Great campground with a great location.
A lot of the breweries/wineries are within 10- 25 mins from the campground, convenient location for touring.
They won't allow mail to be delivered there, just packages
I believe they do up top but you would be best off calling them. They are very helpful and friendly
Most campsites would be almost empty if they didn't allow pets! We take our two dogs and have never been charged extra for them. They must be on a leash except in the dog park, and you can't allow them to be a nuisance, barking all the time etc.
My parents always get their mail at my house when they are in town so i don't know. However there are a few post offices within a reasonable distance. :)
