Used to go here all the time when I lived closer in the area years ago. Since then, I'm sad to say the selection/quality of materials available seems to have decreased. While there is a variety of fabric - from upholstery to lining to lace and chiffon, there isn't much variety of colors available (or higher quality fabric options). This may be a result of the craziness of the pandemic. I'll continue to come here when I need something quick amd support Oakland small businesses, but otherwise I'll have to make the drive to San Jose for higher quality fabrics. Also parking is always a challenge here (no different from just about any neighborhood in this city).

Beautiful fabric! Everything was super stylish! They had exactly what I needed for upholstery repair and I would definitely recommend this place over something like Joann's. The woman who helped me was very sweet and very helpful.

I Love this place! The staff is always very nice and helpful. I've been going here for years and will continue to be a loyal customer. The selection is small although they are introducing new fashion forward products, but is definitely a good place to shop for the basics. And the prices are very competitive and fair. I definitely recommend this establishment for what it is they have to offer.
