My fiance worked here from September to January and really enjoyed the job. In November I had major surgery and he needed to take a few days off to care for me. The days were approved and he took them off. In December, he got sick and used his SICK TIME to take off two days... He was trying to be responsible during a pandemic. The time off was approved by management every single time and he even worked overtime days. He was even chosen to work independently helping in other sections of the warehouse. Then out of nowhere they fired him citing poor attendance. The woman who fired him even said he was a wonderful employee and worked very hard and if it was up to her, he would be so working there. Losing a stable job in the middle of the pandemic was rough, but he was completely blindsided. It really reflects poorly on the company that they would fire someone out of nowhere after approving sick time DURING A PANDEMIC. He's w up for rehire, but I don't trust a company that treats it's employees like that
