Lived here for a few months. The issues I've read in previous reviews are not present. I've had a wonderful experience in this building. The leasing office has to be one of the best in the city, the security/people that work on site knows everyone personally and every guest of mine has commented about how nice and helpful they are. Fantastic area, and premises.

One of my friends lived here and I absolutely enjoyed coming and visiting every single time! You feel like you are in your own little oasis in the middle of bustling LA. There are so many amenities that you can enjoy including an amazing pool area and gym. They also had a wonderful spot to gather with friends and enjoy your evening. If I ever move to LA this ia where I will be living 100%. If you are looking I highly recommend giving them a tour I just love this building so much!

I have lived here for 3 years now and the lofts are well designed, views are incredible, maintenance is great and front desk staff and management do their jobs well. If it was not for the "new" design plan for the lobby I would be inclined to give it 4 or 5 stars. When CIM managed this building it had a perfectly modern looking open design to the lobby. When Alliance Residential took over they made a lot of positive changes but made a mistake in the "new" design of the lobby implemented in June 2014: Ironically, money was spent on a look that has cheapened the appearance of the lobby, and on furniture, that is completely out of place. More specifically: the building is made of glass, steel, exposed concrete, high ceilings, and divided into open lofts -- all this typifies modern, minimal, and how everyone recognizes Sunset Vine Tower. By contrast, the current "new" furniture and "new" look is 70's style, cluttered, lowers the ceiling by lowering the ceiling lamps, uses the most displeasing combination of green with gold, brown and grey, has a cheap Vegas-style neon Sunset sign by the poolside, and has wallpapered the very walls that were supposed to be left as is. Even the "new" wall art looks cheap and out of place. And they have put it so many plants into the lobby, that you might think they are for sale. While these 70's looks (or whatever look they are going for - Old Hollywood?) may be appropriate for an older building in need of a retro-makeover, it looks very forced onto the modern Sunset Vine Tower, and clearly out of place. A majority of residents have complained about the "new" lobby look and management is aware of this. Hopefully someone will take action to return it to the modern aesthetic that worked best and provided the highest occupancy. We all appreciate the intention behind trying to change things up in the lobby, but the result did not work out, unfortunately. Why force an OLD HOLLYWOOD look into a NEW MODERN HOLLYWOOD building?
