Such a disappointment to book a car two months ahead of time and then when your plane lands they tell you that they have no cars available! Just have to wait until some come back.

The best Hertz location in the country and I've been to at least 30 or more. The employees are always upbeat and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate. I've been renting cars here for 10 years, definitely 5 stars!

On 07/02/2021 I received an invoice that included charges for vehicle damages in the amount of $300.00. The notice stated that I have 30 days to dispute the validity of the charges. I am disputing these charges as the vehicle was Not damaged in any way. ** I filled out a survey to inform Hertz about how I was mistreated at the office where I rented the vehicle. I called this office to inquire about the necessary documentation needed and requested all details of the rental. I was told of the rental amount and that I would need a Driver's License and a Major Credit card. Upon arrival ,The "manager" came from the back of the store, appearing to be irritated. I proceeded to give my Credit Card and Drivers Licensed and was told that this was not sufficient. I questioned the reason and was told that a 600$ deposit was necessary. I proceed to advise that this is Not what I was told over the phone and requested a manager. This person proceeded to tell me he was the manager, that he was the one I spoke with over the phone and that If I would have asked about a deposit he would have told me. The "Manager" was disagreeable and unpleasant. I advised that $600 was above the credit limit on the card. This guy was extremely dismissive and stated there was nothing he could do and he could not rent the car to me. I was literally stuck in Cedar Rapids. There was another customer there who pulled me outside and stated that this man is Always this way and that I could reserve the car for 1 day instead. When I went back into the office, I requested the rental for one day and was astonished at how "the Manager '' stated ok. I was embarrassed and upset because why did this "Manager" treat me in such a bad way and upset my entire day. Why would he not want to help me? I asked him and his response was " It's not my job to assist you." WHAT!?? The "Manager" had me sign some papers then proceeded to the back. This was the last time I saw him. There was a very pleasant young lady who drove the car around and handed me the keys. The car was not what I reserved. The lady stated "The manager" gave the other customer the sedan and that they had just cleaned this SUV. She proceeded to tell me the rules of the car and apologized for such nasty treatment. I returned this vehicle in Perfect condition and I can't help but feel this is sabotage. ***Update*** Received an email stating there would be no charges for damages

Worst experience and will never book again. Booked rental 3 days back , when went to airport for pickup they told no cars are available. The lady over the counter is very rude and dont respect customers. We planned a trip for a week booked all the hotels. Now at the last minute we are forced to cancel all over plans. Hertz this is not expected. Rating one stat is also not worth

Pick another one. Hertz screws you over with charges that aren't in the contract.
Take them to the Hertz counter in the terminal and place in the key return box.
