Beautiful views overlooking the Mississippi River. Park is small but has a variety of trails and crowds were light. Campground has only 45 sites and they are well spaced.

Positives : Large campsites which are very clean. Nice senic short hiking trails. Interesting historical sights in the area. Not so good : Pretty narrow streets, if you are in a class a or fifth wheel watch out for the branches on the way out. Showers are "so-so", keep pressing button and eventually warm water will appear.

Another nice park. Wisconsin does state parks and camping really well. The sites are a bit short for longer campers. Short hiking trails, but fantastic views with good elevation changes. If you walk all of them you can get in about 2.25 miles. And the view for the walk in tent sites is incredible

It's a beautiful area, I would think you would see some!
You should book from wisconsin.goingtocamp.com. Right now there are no rangers staffed so the offices are not open.
