This park has so many cool caves for the whole family. You can hit all the caves within a few hours. It was not crowded when we arrived, be sure to get there early to avoid the crowd. We started at the lower Vance’s and worked our way up.

This state park is not big but you could spend several hours in there. I like the ice cave very much. It could make you cool down a little bit when you sweat walking on the trail. Remember to bring a torch light!

Beautiful location. Worth the drive. But there was no staff available to answer questions. One of the trails was closed because a tree had fallen. If the map was easier to read, I could've found another way to see balanced rock. But it was still awesome to see what I saw. The steps and trails are very nice and well maintained.

Great place to take the kids (4,6,7) hiked the entire trail, takes approximately 2.5 hours. Beautiful views, and safety railings where they should be. Grab a map from the office before you go! Playgrounds, picnic tables, bathroom and camp sites.

You park at your campsite. Our parking spot, along with the ones near us, were spacious for the average-sized vehicle.
I saw on the campground guide that dogs are allowed, but need to be leashed at all times. I do not know about the cave areas/trails
No additional fee. There are lots of caves most r for experts. There are a few walk throughs. Yes there are always people with dogs. James is wrong.
That is probably too far. Firewood is avail and free, they only ask for a donation for it.
We grabbed 3 patches for a future project last weekend. I think they were $2 each.
Yes, please have poop bags ready and on a leash.
