Nice quiet place to hike. Lots of trails to explore. Also had a very nice pavilion to rent. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic nature area, tucked away in Maquoketa. Beautiful trails and nice pavilion/gathering area. Be aware that the trail map and the actual trails don't always match. Some dead end and not all area are accessible. Still miles of trails of varying degrees of difficulty, all on grass. Favorite place to take the dog for a good walk/hike.

Beautiful new area open to the public, and currently being developed with new amenities for better access and recreational opportunities! Go for a hike, fishing, a small walk...simply get outdoors and be in nature, conveniently right on the edge/outskirts on a quiet end of town.

Not really.
No. They have to be on a leash at all times.
The park is a little over a year old and has lots of plans ahead!
