I recently moved into my apartment here and I have nothing but positive experiences to report. The staff have all been very accommodating and helpful from the very start. I’ve had a couple of small maintenance requests and they were attended to immediately. Can’t wait to take a dip in the beautiful pool! Thanks Cudahy Commons!

I cannot say enough about the exceptional experience I've had living at Cudahy Commons. The staff and managament have been professional, accomodating and attentive to all my needs while residing here. Penny has been exceptional to work with, I've never had such a wonderful experience with a property manager. Thank you Penny for all you do!!! The neighbors have been awesome and it really felt like "home." Thank you Cudahy Commons, it's been a wonderful stay and I would absoulutely recommend to all my friends and family.

I use to like it when I first moved here but now I regret moving here! Don’t MOVE HERE!! Not worth the headache in the long run. Penny and Courtney has a very nonchalant attitude about problems tenants bring to them. Like what’s the point of them being in the office if they can’t help their tenants out?!?! They never want to take accountability. They trying to charge extra for rent for these apartments than they actually are worth. The refrigerator went out on Friday so we contacted the office right away. Courtney say she called maintenance, we haven’t heard anything back until Sunday. Maintenance said it might’ve been a fuse, which wasn’t the case. We needed a new refrigerator like we told them. We called the emergency maintenance line back and no one answered the phone or called back. Our food went bad and had to throw it out we had to keep calling the office for someone to answer. We ask can they reimbursement or help out with food since nobody wasn’t answering the emergency maintenance line, they said it’s nothing they can do. Also, my new car got towed the first day I got it. I didn’t have a chance to go to the office to get a new sticker. 15 minutes later my car was gone. $150 and my car wasn’t in the tow lot that long, ridiculous!!!! The tow lot said that I can call the office and see if I can get a refund. They said no they can’t do that. Courtney say she put a new parking sticker in my door slot. Come to find out she put it in the wrong apartment door. Maintenance came and gave my significant other the envelope and said this envelope was in the wrong door. Another incident where when we first moved here our storage space was occupied. My significant other brought it to Penny attention. So we put our belongings in another storage and now it’s gone. Those items that were in that storage were very valuable. And of course they said it’s nothing they can do again. Just pitiful!!! Choose another place to stay!!!

Don’t rent here!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I moved here a few months back and it has been nothing but nightmares! For starters: Upon touring the property, the elderly property manager Penny had no clue what she was doing. I was promised by a leasing consultant that I could view the apartment that I applied for ($200 application fee). Penny showed me a 2 bedroom that I mentioned I might be interested in. I had to ask several times to see the unit I was applying for. Even then she was confused on where it was or when it was available. Remember, I already applied for the unit! Upon moving in, I had to scrub out my washer because of how dirty it was. There was mold on the wall behind the washer that I scrubbed off. I couldn’t figure out why I only get sick in my apartment. Come to find that was why. I had an opportunity that came my way and jumped at the chance to move out. Seeing as I have worked in a leasing office before, I really wanted to make sure I left on good terms. In the lease that I signed, it said that subleasing and breaking the lease was to be determined by property manager. I emailed Penny and kept her updated as I was making my decision to leave. I was extremely courteous and did my best to keep her in the loop. Penny told me that the lease break fee was basically an extra month of rent. I paid $300 right away and emailed Penny stating I’d be paying the rest over February. Being in nursing school and working two jobs, I’ve been extremely busy. In fact, I hadn’t been at the unit in a week but stayed at my boyfriends which is closer to work for me. When I went back to the unit to pack some things. A big letter was pasted to my door. It said I had 5 days to vacate for not paying the remainder of the lease break fee. My rent was all paid up just the fee that I told her I’d pay over the rest of February. February 17th is when she pasted it on my door. I already contacted my lawyer and told her I’d pay it (which I did today). Penny agreed in an email that I’d be paying over the course of February. Unfortunately, I’m unable to attach the image of her agreeing that it was fine. She originally told me upon move in, she’d contact me with any concerns via email or phone call due to me being so busy. What I don’t get is why tell me that I could pay it over the full month is fine and why not a single phone call or email concerning this? There’s a pandemic that is happening and to me it’s extremely inconsiderate and rude on how she handled this and even responded to my email. I do not recommend anyone here. In fact you’ll often hear the staff talking about how she doesn’t allow them time off or address their concerns. She needs to manage her property better and communicate better with the tenants. Also to mention my car got stuck in the snow days after a snow fall. They don’t clear pathways. There is ice everywhere for days. If you want an apartment that is disgusting, dogs exceeding weight limits, staff that’s miserable -you found it at Cudahy Commons.
