The sunsets are beautiful at this campground. However, the water smelled like sewer and we had to buy a filter. The owner is very rude towards females..... he was completely different when my husband talked to him. I'm giving this a 4 star as he did let's us stay for 2 months while my son was in the NICU.

The owner, Tim, is at the campsite often and gets to know those who camp at the campgrounds. If you are planning to camp near Green Bay try to get a site at Shady Acres!!! We will definitely be back!!!

No bathroom facilities. No showers, and only pit toilets. Literally on the side of highway 43 with high traffic noise that is not drowned out by an air conditioner. Picnic tables are rotted. The whole place seems on its last legs. The camp host seemed friendly enough, and the camp dog was a sweetheart. It was cheap, but unless you have an RV with your own bathroom and don't mind traffic noise, I wouldn't recommend it.

$22 tent, $27 RV
Yes. We stayed there in our 30 ft travel trailer.
Just be prepared . This is not a luxury camp ground. They are affordable , they are friendly , and it is quiet at night. We felt safe. But, there is no shower house or flushing toilets. In various spots there are piles of rubbish. Infact as we pulled up our first sight was an old dentist chair out front of the "front desk" . Our power outlet did not work (unnoticed till our sight was all set up) but a kind neighbor just told us to use thiers. We have lots of fond memories from our one night stay there and again the owner was kind, fair, and laid back. Just let me know if your husband talks in his sleep all night about a corn huskers festival like mine did. Lol
$22 tent.. $27 RV. They have water and electric, dump. By fill are you asking propane? If so no but there are places near.
We let ours run without a leash with zero issues
