Amazing beer trip with my friends and SF on tap for a bachelor party. We got to experience a handful of different breweries during this trip. We had a group of 9 guys and Elie was very accommodating and professional. Prior to the trip, Elie communicated and followed up with me via email and text and assured we were taken care of. I would book another trip!

Come for the beer, stay for the history lesson--super fun foodie experience! Henrique was our guide, and he is so friendly and knowledgeable. When you're not a local, finding those special places for your particular tastes can be challenging, even with the internet, but SF on Tap Tours has true local experiences, local lore, and (most importantly) local beer. The beer selection is great, and the venues are just as varied. You go to very different venues, from a shiny new brewpub in Ghiradelli Square, to an absolutely unique Indian-Irish pub by the cable cars, to a psychedelic, tiny bar in North Beach. A highlight for me: you get to see a REAL Banksy work in the wild. My mind was blown!! Great tour and keep it up.

What a fantastic tour! Mike Levinson was a super guide with a lot of good knowledge and passion for beer and the local area. Can highly recommend to anyone for a good day out!

The Beer walking too I did in San Fran was amazing! Meetup was at a brewery bar where we sampled some beers, and our guide explained how they were made. We got to try the ingredients, and even went to see how the beers were made in the brewery. The tour continued across the city at many different bars with many varying types of beer. My last drink was a choice between a peanut butter beer and a coffee beer! This tour was well worth the cost, as all the beer was genuine and tasted great. some were pretty strong too and hard to even get through the sample! (all of which are about 150ml ish) It lasted about 4 hours, and then the group stayed out for another 2 hours because we all got on so well! The best part was bonding with the staff and everyone else on the trip. I will never forget the tour and it was a highlight of my American trip!

Yes. While the final decision is still yours, tips are a very important gesture of your appreciation in American culture. Your guide depends on tips for a very significant part of his/her wages. We train our guides to go above and beyond the call of duty and hope you feel they did, in which case they have earned your generous tip. If this is not the case, please contact us directly with your feedback and we will do everything we can to provide better service on future tours. The suggested tip is 15-20% of the tour cost.

What should I bring?

SF on Tap - Craft Beer Walking Tours | Aug 28, 2021
SF on Tap - Craft Beer Walking Tours | Aug 28, 2021

Your ID: Many places in the USA are very strict about not serving beer to people under 21 years old, including most places we visit. Please be able to prove you are 21 or over. Comfortable shoes or sandals: Make sure they're comfortable enough for you to walk at least 1.5 mi (2.5 km). Jacket: San Francisco is famous for its cold foggy summers. Bring a jacket or sweatshirt. Always dress in layers when visiting San Francisco regardless of the season. Water and snacks: You can get both of these at some of our stops, but you can bring them too. Extra cash: If you want to buy a snack or stay around after the tour for some beer or food with the group, some of the places we visit accept cash only. Reminder: You will be tasting beers that can't be bought at the store; consider picking up some for later. Great Attitude: Come willing to learn and ready to make fast friends. This is as much a celebration as it is a tour and our goal is for this to be your favorite memory of San Francisco.
