Seeing Michael after a couple weeks of traveling was much needed. I felt so much better after my first session with him and now plan to book with him regularly since he offers such a high quality experience within my price range. He is kind and attentive, making sure that you have a personalized experience and checking in with you to see what you want to focus on and making any adjustments.

Honestly the best massage I have ever had! The space is quiet and comfortable. Michael was very attentive to ask the right questions on pressure and tension spots to work on throughout the massage. I will definitely be coming back!

I cannot say enough great things about Michael and his massage therapy practice. He has created such a peaceful and calming studio that just allows me to exhale and relax. Walking into the historic Flood Building I thought it would be more of an old-school studio to compliment the marble, iron and rich dark woods of the historic building architecture but once he opened the door of his suite, I entered a unique oasis of peace. It is very cool! He is an expert at tailoring his services to my aches and tight muscles and really listens to me and makes adjustments that compliment my goals. He is strong, focused, and nurturing all at the same time. This guy is truly gifted in massage therapy. In my almost 20 years of getting massage I have been treated by approximately 15 different therapists and I can say without hesitation that Michael is easily the best I have experienced. I wish I would have discovered him from the start. I cannot recommend him enough and if you see him regularly, he rewards you! Give him a try, you won't be disappointed but know that he is really popular in San Francisco so he books up quickly!

I've been seeing Michael for several years and always leave feeling much better than I did when I came in, whether it was just to relax, or to have him fix any of a number of aches and pains. He's very knowledgeable, can work deep or not, and is, besides, incredibly charming and fun to talk to.

Of course! I can offer both table or chair massage for all sorts of events. Massage makes a great addition to weddings, birthdays, an office wellness day, bridal or baby showers, fund raisers, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

I can bring my deluxe massage table to your home, or you can take advantage of the In-Spa location where you can enjoy a soak in the hot tub, some time in a dry sauna, or zone out in the steam room. Aim to arrive a bit early, 15-20 minutes, to allow us to begin on time. If you find that you will not make it by our appointment time, call or text to give me a heads up. Don’t stress. Better to show up late and calm rather than frazzled and rushed. We’ll make the best of the time we have. If I am able to accommodate full time, I certainly will.
Shower before your appointment. Showering before your massage helps your body and mind begin to relax, allows for more consistent glide when working, and above all else is hygienic! Don’t eat for about an hour before your session. Giving your body proper time to digest before your session will help ensure that you can fully relax and receive the bodywork. If you feel more comfortable wearing underwear during your massage, choose garments that will allow access to areas you want worked on. Please turn off all the communication devises that make noise and pull your attention away from the bodywork. Unplug, relax, let go of it all for this short time and focus your attention inward.
As my goal is to make massage more accessible I have intentionally set my rates at below market value. There are many ways to show gratitude! The most appreciated form is referral. When you tell your friends about me, write a review about me on YELP and Google, or purchase gift certificates for friends and family, it helps my business grow and allows me to spread the love. Although cash tips are always appreciated when received, they are never expected. Thank you for considering me as your go-to Massage Therapist!
Just one session can bring the relief that you have been longing for. It is important to remember that the knots and tension patterns have developed over time with daily activity and stress. These areas will need time to be worked out over multiple sessions. Also important is consideration of self-care in between our sessions, to increase the long-term relief. Clients often experience long-term and dramatic increases in relaxation, comfort, range of motion, and body awareness through regular treatment. With our first session, we will begin to learn what works for you. There are many things to consider on an individual basis. Each body is different, and each of us responds differently to various techniques. We will work together to learn what techniques are best suited for you. Together, with clear communication, we will work to achieve your personal set of goals, address any concerns that arise, and build a kind of partnership in healing.
8ft x 5ft will work 9ft x 6ft is even better!
Yeah, "legally Blind" which just means my vision is worse than 20/200. Mine is actually 20/700. I have a genetic eye condition called Stargardt’s, a form of macular degeneration. With a loss of central vision, I sometimes have trouble finding an address. Otherwise, I don’t require any special assistance. Because I rely on my peripheral vision, I often do not make eye contact when speaking to people. Feel free to ask me anything, I don’t mind.
Nope, I come equipped with everything we need! I bring my deluxe massage table, fresh flannel sheets, and organic massage creme. I have multiple playlists of relaxing music and a portable speaker to play them on. If you have music you would prefer to play during the session, that’s okay too!
I specialize in a form of deep tissue / sports massage mixed with some relaxation to leave you feeling like we created some space, made a difference, really got into the muscles and opened things up, but without the pain that so many people think of when considering "deep Tissue". Each session is totally customized to your individual needs that day. NO cookie cutter, paint by numbers, robotic routines here. You tell me what you like, what you're looking for out of each session, and we'll custom taylor each massage to reach those goals every time. I use a combination of techniques including: Deep Tissue Sports Massage Active Myofascial Release Swedish Thai Massage Zen-Shiatsu
