I used to work close to Whitehurst 20 years ago and it was delicious! Now it is terrible. Fish has no seasoning. Shrimp tasted day old, and the mac and slightly cheese was weak. None of the sides were good. Won't be coming back. Super Fish is a few blocks north on Crenshaw. Go there instead.

My husband and I tried Whitehurst Fried Fish for the first time today. Everything we ordered was delicious. The fish was fresh, the portions were very generous, and seasoned perfectly with very little salt and lots of flavorful spices. We were pleasantly surprised. We definitely plan to come again.
