I don’t post anything , until now this hospital is the worst . I came 2 days to the doctor , my doctor/ nurse didn’t even know what they where doing , didn’t what to run any diagnosis or blood work , the doctors young and they don’t have experience, they use a Google to try to find out what’s going on. Stay away!! 2 after “the doctor gave my , medicine “ I came to the pharmacy I check in they didn’t have my medicine, I gave them two days to have it ready came back and they told me the medicine wasn’t ready because they juts seen me I had told them that can’t be, because I had see my doctor 2 days ago. Now I’m here again waiting in line for almost 2 hrs just because they don’t have good communication. Don’t come to any Kaiser permanent hospitals !!!

I brought my mom into the emergency room, arrived at 12 am and got out at 8 am. I understand there is wait but waiting 5 hours to be called to get blood work is ridiculous. The nurse that helped us in the emergency room was giving attitude to my mother for asking questions regarding her blood pressure. I also mentioned to her that this is her first time in an emergency room so she was a bit anxious about the needles and she responded, “if you come to an emergency room obviously you’re going to get poked what did you expect.”. Completely unprofessional nurse with nasty attitude. The doctor that attended us Dr. García was really professional and nice that’s the only good part I can say about this place.

I got an x-ray 2 weeks ago (Monday 4/11/2022) for a wrist injury. They told me that I should either receive a call or an update on the KP app after it was looked at. It has been two weeks with no updates (today is Monday 4/25/2022) and my wrist is still in pain. I called back this morning to check on the status, and I was told that it has not been processed yet. More than a 14 day turnaround time seems quite excessive for a wrist x-ray. Anyways, they said they will message the department who is supposed to look at the x-rays to finally start looking at it after two weeks. Though my guess is that they won’t be getting back to me anytime soon, because that’s what I’ve come to expect from Kaiser Panorama City. Whoever responds to these Google reviews always boasts that this medical center holds itself to a high standard, but I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences here (been here for urgent care too, which is another story). They seem to be content with leaving their patients in pain and telling them little to nothing, which is a terrible standard if that’s what they’re holding themselves to. To any patients that for some reason read these reviews, if you have a choice PLEASE find a different hospital/medical center and get the better care you deserve.

The MD that addressed my concerns was a God sent! He answered and addressed all of my concerns. He was helpful in referring me to a Specialty Clinic as I am new to the area. The amount of time that this Doc spent with me as a patient, was priceless. He explained my situation with diagrams of the anatomy. Impressive! I felt this person had empathy & really took an interest & cared. I left in a happy state & this was a first positive experience for KP SoCal.

A chapel exists. Kaiser is distinctly agnostic and will allow your spiritual advisor. Dont plan on a chaplain being easily accessible at Kaiser's provision.

If you have your medical record at Kaiser, just ask your provider. So that it can be released so that you have all the necessary information

Building 4 is part of building 5 which is where the hospital is. If you park in the big parking structure on cantara you can go to the 3rd floor of the parking structure and use the bridge to access the 4th building
I don't know what time they start, probably 8am, however, the drive-up line starts earlier.
They have a 24 hr pharmacy in the hospital building (#5).
There is no drive up but there are flu shot stations outside of the hospital on the roundabout in front of emergency. There is another one outside between building 3 and the parking structure. Call the facility for times of operation.

I would say make sure and ask them if it is urine or excrement. Regularly for urine in children they give you a plastic bag and for solids (excrement) they give you a small bottle with a stick or spatula

Go to the main 24/7 pharmacy at Panorama City Kaiser. Enter on Wilard St. Use building 5 (it's the newest building with circle 'drop-off' driveway in front). Walk up the stairs and make an immediate left. Then make your next immediate left. Then make your 3rd immediate left and you'll be inside the pharmacy. This pharmacy is Open 24/7.

I'm not sure about this but probably not, if you have medi-cal your group like Lacare, healthnet etc should be able to provide free transportation for two ways/ round trip you would need to call a few days,in advance excluding holidays and weekends and before 5pm or 7pm, sometimes the insurance will even get Lyft to come pick you up. I know that healthnet will provide mileage reimbursement, but you have to get them to approve it before the trip, la care i heard doesn't do mileage reimbursement, I've also heard of Access and MV transportation to give transportation

I have a friend that's getting methadone through Kaiser I think he's getting it through a regular doctor they're not a specialist like I detox center but on Riverside Drive there is a methadone clinic in North Hollywood
