This place is worth coming to purely for the location and views. As far as the actual “hotel” elements go - the room was tiny, no AC so very hot, and super thin walls. The restaurant was just ok, we tried to order some steak and the waitress told us that something was going on in the kitchen, and they were cooking everything well done. So basically told us not to get it. Very bizarre experience. But will leave 3 stars since it’s an unbelievable view from the hotel.

First time we have ever walked out of a restaurant. Absolutely terrible. There were two restaurants, both with the exact same menu (lunch). The menu had a small handful of entrees. Two, including the only vegetarian one, were unavailable. Waiter was clueless. We waited an hour. Wound up walking out. I pity the people staying here who have no other dining options. Don't waste your money!

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were cute and retro ski chalet. Our room looked right over the lake which is the way to go. It’s secluded and peaceful. Dinner is served buffet style and although I’m not a big buffet fan, dinner was good. There’s a bar on site as well. Good customer service throughout.

This place is just magical. Truly spectacular views and beautiful hiking trails. In the two days we stayed, we saw moose, longhorn sheep, and grizzly bear multiple times. Expect to have no cell phone service, and very limited dining options.
