This place is the bee's knees🐝. I love that they give out free compost and mulch! I love the smell of the compost it smells so sweet to me. I had a fun day shoveling around the compost heap today, ya dig! The only thing to watch out for is that there are bits of plastics here and there in the compost from people throwing plastics in their green waste.

Finally went there to pick up some compost. Drove past it once. The pickup area is across the road from the Authorized Vehicles areas. There are two enclosures side-by-side, with one open side. One has the mulch, which was medium brown and obviously just shredded stuff. The compost is darker and finer textured. Be sure and bring your own shovel and something to put the stuff in. A man that was there at the same time as I was was loading his compost into plastic trash cans -- the kind we used to use before the automated trash pickup -- and putting them in the back of his pickup truck. I had brought some bags that dry catfood had come in. Whatever works for you! And, as the gentleman said: "You can't beat the price!"
