DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE! My grandfather is 88, confused, deaf, disabled, a massive fall risk, and uses a walker for mobility. I dropped him off at the door to the ER (he can’t walk from the parking lot) and told him to wait for me in the waiting room. I went and parked my car, returned to help him get registered and the “security guard” REFUSED TO LET ME IN!!! Their excuse was the ER is “too full”. My grandfather relies on me for literally everything and cannot be left unattended. I am also his LICENSED CARETAKER and POA. The security guards left my confused, deaf, urine soaked, grandfather alone in the waiting room. I had to make a GIANT SCENE just to get them to let me in! They literally handed me a business card WITH A PHONE NUMBER and told me I need to “get an exception” from a nurse?! What on earth else would quantify an extenuating circumstance that deserves an IMMEDIATE exception?! When I finally did make it inside - a nurse is trying to convince me that my frustration was unwarranted! I will be filing a complaint with the medical board, their administration, and any one else I can possibly get to see that is a completely OUTRAGEOUS rule! I’m just disgusted. Whoever runs this hospital should be ashamed that this was allowed to happen.

OK, so yezterday-July 19, 2022. I went by Ambulance not airplane. But an ambulance and ah I was taken aback on how quick they seen me. But at the same time. I spotted a racist lady who worked as a nurse. Her name was Sarah and she basically told the nurses not to help me even after I asked her about dinner and something to eat because Chloe a nurse said she would arrange that for me. I got there at 5pm but left at around 9:30pmish. So roughly my wait time was around five hours. She let all the nurses know that I could walk but I couldn't walk because I was really down. And I couldn't walk because of the pain. 😀😃🙂. So ah I called patient services but it was closed. So the lady who let the staff know I could walk and so on got in my face and refused to give e me her name. Very aggressive behavior. To make matters worse I was still waiting to eat. I had to use the restroom but they said I couldn't use the wheelchair in the restroom. Despite the fact that the wheel chair ♿️ sign was on the restroom door. 🚻.

This was the most amazing experience me and my wife have had out of all three of are children I can not believe how much they made us both feel super involved and comfortable. Thank you to Dr Hatfield she really did an amazing job. My wife had a c section and was truly treated so good. All the nurses were so amazing and really made us feel like we were taken care of. They set us up with a free breast pump too! They had given us a celebratory dinner that we weren't expecting at all. Thank you again to all staff. It was truly a great experience!

I have nothing but good things to say about the nurses, but there are ridiculous anti-family COVID-hysteria policies enforced here. We had our daughter in the NICU for five weeks and her young siblings were never once allowed to visit her. With a baby in the NICU there’s always a possibility she may not come out, how horrific would it be to have your child pass away without her siblings ever getting to meet her. This was my biggest worry throughout those 5 weeks.

No, not to the general public yet. And I don't know when or if we will. The only people who have gotten the Covid vaccine at the hospital so far are the hospital employees.
