La Brioche is a hidden gem in Madison!! From the moment you enter the restaurant you get an elegant and friendly vibe. Love the beautiful decor of this place and totally in love with the beautiful cups they offer tea in. It was my first time trying this place and absolutely loved it. The food, service, and vibe is a 10/10!!! You must save room for dessert because they have a great selection of baked sweet treats. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch. This is a great brunch spot offering excellent food. Do make reservations or be prepared to wait because they are always busy.

So elegant that every visit is a special occasion. The setting is so incredibly lush (I even love the bathroom!) and the food is sublime. On this visit, we started with Bellinis and had the vegetarian Quiche of the day and the Reuben and were very impressed with every single little part. Finished up with coffee (robust and flavorful, but not as hot as we prefer so new, hot cups were brought to table quickly). We were lucky to get some of the best Danish in Madison to bring home for later. The back area is quieter than the front part of the restaurant. Limited outdoor seating right now.

No, La Brioche is not affiliated with Dr. Weil, tho we follow the same dietary guidelines. We opened our restaurant 13 years ago and called it True Food because a lot of our menu is local and/or organic And because we believe that our environment -that is beauty- nourishes us and is also a type of food that contributes to well being. We believe that food( nourishment) exists in many forms, some physical some not so physical (conversation, music, color, balance of proportion, kindness,etc). We have incorporated those ideas into our restaurant. Our intention is to provide nurturing in addition to physical food.
They did with a larger group (5 people). Not sure if they do with a smaller group.
