Because of my insurance plan, this is the only place I could go for my 2 wisdom teeth removal. I was probably better off getting them taken out in a back alley. The wait was horrendous. After the surgery, there was no recovery time. They want you out and fast. Whether you're ready or not. A couple days after surgery, I was in extreme pain. I called repeatedly but no one ever answered the phone. Desperate, I drove down there. I begged to be seen, in tears, and was told no. I was told I needed an appointment. I left. I tried dealing with the pain. Now it's the weekend. I went to urgent care because I didn't know what else to do but they couldn't help me. I called my dentist office on Monday and explained that Wilson's Dental refused to see me on Friday and that I was in so much pain. They took me in right away and after a quick look, they told me I had a dry socket. It didn't take them long to fix at all. I felt better in minutes. I will never go to WD ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone else. This happened a couple years ago and I'm sure their level of concern and care hasn't improved.

Step-daughter had an appointment for a set time in the evening. We arrived early and got her checked in. We'd waited over an hour for her to be seen past her original appointment time. This isn't the first time it's happened either. Whoever manages this locations appointments needs to do a better job or be fired. No one should wait over an hour after their appointment time to be seen. I know why they do it though. Money. They're the only location that takes state medicaid insurance. So they know they can get away with the terrible service because no one can go elsewhere.

Worst night ever. The staff was friendly and polite, nothing against the receptionists or staff. Everyone was pleasant. However, I had to take time off work in order to have my wisdom teeth removed and needed my cousin to drive and wait with me. My appointment was at 3 and I wasn’t in surgery until at least 5:45. My poor cousin works overnights and was exhausted waiting for me. They said the delay was because another patient was there as well and the tools they needed for my removal needed to rest or heat up between patients. Then schedule me later?? If you know you have another patient and you have a delay why make people wait for hours losing pay and sleep. Mind you, they cancelled TWO prior appointments before this because the surgeon went on vacation and then the next time was apparently sick. I received a text saying it had been cancelled THE DAY BEFORE. Again, with a procedure like this people need to make arrangements and rides. Very inconsiderate to the patient considering if I had cancelled multiple times with such short notice I would be removed as a patient. Quite a rude double standard there. The procedure itself went fine and the staff was polite, but afterwards was a mess. Because THEN, worst of all, THEY DIDNT SEND MY PAIN MEDICATION SCRIPT. How absolutely unprofessional to send someone home after surgery, with stitches and a bruised, swollen jaw, with no pain relief. I had heard bad things about this practice but that was absurd. Because of course, when I called the pharmacy to see if it was ready they said the script wasn’t sent and to call the dentist. Well they were closed already, leaving me with no medication. So thanks a lot Wilson dental for a terrible night.

Yes. I have tried other dental clinics. This is one I would recommend over others.
Very simple!! You don’t.
Yes
Yes I have fidelis. And ask for Daniel Kang he is superb!
Yes they do
Not worth ur time. Don't go there
Uhm gina of course its stupid take that couch to the crime lab shiid u might solve a murder 😄😄😄
I found out that they do take .y insurance, but don't have a periodontist!!!
They book double ppl all the time. But my teeth are well worth it
Yes we cover all basic insurance even third party insurance
No don't volunteer information that is not asked for. Take something for your cold an hour before. That it done. Be prepared to wait
U do get pain meds
Medicaid covers dental implants when medically necessary, prior auth is required
If referred you can go straight to procedure. At least that has been my experience. But if establishing as a new patient and you dont have. a dentist you regularly see, they are probably going to want to start with hygiene appt.
They just used novocain and pulled my tooth out. No gas.
Who knows it's not like they're going to help up anyway and when you do go to see them they'll have you wait 4hrs past your appointment then look at you for 30 seconds do nothing and make another appointment a month from then then keep doing nothing... worst place ever
Id call the medicaid insurance worker for the dental...doesnt hurt to ask in case there is some type of deductible...so you can plan ahead for that.also id call wilson and make them aware of all dental problems...id imagine there is a cleaning/evaluation before any work is done.
To be honest they did one root alcanal for me that's it's taken more appointments but everything be fine
Yes Wilson dental will care your teeth throw your Medicaid But there are some conditions they need to contact your insurance company for approval I did root alcanal and the approved it to me so it's depends on the case.
It all depends on what they see when u go in there ...just look forward to getting fir n check ups
Yes I'm sure just call
Yes
Contact the NYS Attorney General's Office to file a complaint that will be acted upon
Depends on your dentist and what happened before you. I make appointments as early as possible. The less people ahead of me the less wait time.
I like him a lot,very caring
Depends on the tooth at most 40
No it goes by appointments only but we do do emergencys so if u call today the may can get u in the next day depending. On ur day of availability n problem
It all depends on what tooth it is, if its a wisdom tooth in your far back then they probably will, but if not, no
Alex I can't remember his last name and there is a another man.
My daughter did,her teeth are looking great
usually if its not cosmetic the insurance pays for it if you are under 18.
I don't believe so
I'm not sure but I think there is a list on the website
Id say call them direct. See their web page for phone number. They will be happy to assist you.
Unsure
Most do they take Medicaid for braces
Yes they do. But be prepared to sit there for 3+ hours even with an appointment.
Not sure about kids but i never felt so good about seeing a dentist
The Syracuse office is awful!! From start to finish first when u go in there there front desk people are always rude to u and are always on there social media account(know that cause i looked at there phone)the nurses and doctors have no bed side manors at all. Had oral surgery 23 teeththere they layed me flat on my back and one of the girls came in there and asked me what was wrong with me very rudely cause i was in pain crying. So when she went back out told another she had to see what i was whinning about. I would not take my dogs to these people and highly recommend u find another denist cause u will not receive good care or even nurses or doctors that care about u here.. Ooo one more thing i witnessed on more than once that if u r a friend of one of the people that works there they will bring them in ahead of everyone else.
