I had a very positive experience employing Detor Computer Services to perform data recovery on my unreadable USB drive. Alan fully explained the entire process of what was involved in processing the transaction (best case to worst case scenarios; fees for starting the investigation; data recovery costs; et cetera). The conversation managed my expectations so that eliminated any surprises or unwelcome outcomes from the recovery efforts. Alan was able to recover most of the data back onto another USB drive that I provided him with. Given the circumstances, I was not expecting 100% of the data to be recovered given Alan's initial analysis of the drive. Overall, I am pleased with the results of Alan's efforts and his professionalism. Detor is my first phone call if I lose data in the future.

Outstanding service, knowledge and professionalism. I contacted Alan when my older laptop bit the dust, and I was hoping for a few more years without having to buy another! Alan came through on multiple levels. I found his company in a Google search, on my phone, from my car, in a parking lot. I had at that point, on that particular day -- as I was seeking someone to fix my laptop that was in the car with me -- exhausted all of my other options without success. Researching computer repair companies from the parking lot, I found Detor Computer Services, and Alan. The number of 5 stars sold me, as well as the many reviews I read, so I made the call. Alan answered -- which was a welcomed plus -- vs. the automated phone systems where one wants to pull their hair out trying to reach a live person. Could tell from that initial phone conversation -- how he conducted himself, what he said and how he said it -- that he was someone I felt could help me. I dropped the laptop off an hour later. Alan explained everything he could potentially do, depending on what he found, and a clear indication of cost. Two days later the laptop was fixed, better than ever! I believed what he said to me from the start, and he did not let me down. Will be using Detor from now on, and confidently recommend his services to others.

Detor is so amazing!!!! I am a college student with typical problems I run into with my computer. His prices are so great and reasonable for the work done. He is also a VERY fast responder through email and I was able to set up my appointment so fast. I felt very comfortable leaving my computer with him you can tell how much experience he has.
