Prime just isn’t the same anymore. Wedge salad used to be great and presented nicely. Tonight it barely had any dressing and the lettuce was old and browning - took a few bites and I think that’s what may have caused me to be very sick since I’ve gotten home. Beware of the lettuce

This place is exceptional! The staff is very friendly and extremely professional. The building is extremely old and has such a great historic feel to it. Plus they had Fox News going on the TV in the bar, and in a place like New York, that is refreshing! Meaningful diversity, i.e. diversity of thought, is extremely rare in a place like this state! I would give them six stars if I could.

Up in Syracuse for the 2021 NYS Association of Fire Chiefs annual convention. Always ask the locals for recommendations of places to eat and Prime Steakhouse was suggested multiple times. Decided to give it a try. On the way asked someone outside how the place was, turned out we met Danny the owner, awsome guy. He got us a table in the bar right outside the wine vault. Such a great atmosphere here, the staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. I can personally recommend the surf and turf. Will definitely be coming back when we are back in town. Updated for 2022.. Back for the NYS Association of Fire Chiefs Convention again. Once again, Prime Steakhouse doesn't disappoint. Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. This is the place to check out when in Syracuse. Danny made friends for life.

We had a wonderful experience here. We started with the beef vegetable soup, and the French onion soup. It is one of the best French onion soups we have ever had. We then followed up with the NY strip, and the filet mignon. They were cooked to perfection. Our server was beyond amazing. We would definitely return.
