I like to visit this location for solid panel doors, and a wide variety of commercial and residential furniture and fixtures. They also get regular donations of large item lots. I have seen huge numbers of vanities, office chairs, railroad tracks, bags of mulch and 20+ palettes of wooden fence pickets. These items turn over quickly, but there always seems to be something new every time I wander in. Worth a visit!

Had a pleasant experience until I reached the register, the cashier a middle age woman short in height with a pink tshirt and long blonde ponytail was so wrapped up in gossiping to another cashier about a customer that she did not even turn around to acknowledge me standing there. If you've ever been to this place you know the registers only have a glass case dividing you from the cashier. She kept running her mouth that the guy whom she was talking to that was working stocking the glass case stood up and said oh I guess I'm checking you out. He too was shocked that we were standing there the whole time she was talking about a customer that was long gone. My son and I was the only customers standing there with two boxes of floor tile. The Male cashier with the tattoos and beard was very polite and the rude cashier could learn a few things from him.

For the most part i really like just about all of the habitat for humanity restores in Missouri and Kansas. It definitely takes a little patience cause it's like treasure hunting. You never know what they are going to have and for that matter what it's going to be priced. I have found some amazing deals at times only to scratch my head at how high something is priced another. Still love the ReStore though!

What a huge place! Great deals, but products here tend to be more corporate minded, donations from large companies. The Restore in Marin City is also very large but tends to receive more donations from individuals. I suggest you always being a measuring tape. I find a useful bargain almost every visit.

Yes, we do take gently used furniture that is in sellable condition. It is always up to our receiving staff or drivers on if it is and item we can accept.
ReStore KC follows the government-mandated requirements and sanitize high touch areas throughout the day. Go to habitatkc.org/restore for a more in-depth explanation, habitatkc.org/restore
Yes. It seems that everything varies as far as what is available. Depending on what you need. Visit multiple locations and see what is in. Never the same things consistently, but always has things you may be looking for.
You have to pick up yourself. They don't deliver but you can find good things sometimes depends on what you want and if you see best get then because you can come back the next day or 2 days later and all gone.
Yes we are open Monday, Columbus day, our regular business hours from 9an - 6pm.
We accept donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances and building materials. Donations come through individuals and businesses. We are a retail store open to the public to purchase items at deep discounted prices to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City.
We accept all paint that meets the requirements listed below. For industrial/professional paint donations, please contact (816) 231-6889 to schedule a pick-up. Paint must be in original container with the original label, no rusted and dented cans. Gallon containers need to be over 3/4 full. 5-gallon containers need to have at least one gallon of paint. We do not accept: Chemicals, including cleaning products, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, rodenticides, fertilizers, etc.
We do not get water heaters very often and when we do the price would depend on the type and condition of the unit. A price range would be $100 -$500.
Yes the store is open 9 to 5 on Saturday
As long as there are no rips, tears or stains then yes habitat takes them
They might take cribs. Not sure about mattresses. You would probably be better off taking cribs to someplace like salvation army.
Go to the Restore off of front st. (Deramus st.).. You'll have the best chances there.
Between $5-$500 depending on if they are new or used, the type and condition of the door.
