If you need to rent tools, go to any other Home Depot on the planet. I tried several times over the course of a few weeks to rent a specific tool I needed but was never able to actually pick it up due to the team there not understanding their systems, or processes, or how to perform basic professional communication to customers.

Usually you have to search for help....NOT today. Employees in garden, electrical and plumbing were amazing. Friendly and very helpful.

Went in to buy a replacement battery for Makita drill, 12v was not available in store and would be a week to get at price of $44. I decided then, I should upgrade to 18 volt and asked the mgr if the batteries still sold together with new drill. He responded yes, turned away and went about his different business at hand. I stood over near the Ryobi impact drills, all locked up behind bars, hoping someone would ask what I was looking for. 10 minutes later, I walked out and will find somewhere else.
