I want to live in this hotel. Wonderful staff. Charming space. Super location with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. But the best part was my room (8). Cozy, fun, comforting, and excellent AC. Big wonderful bed. Charming details everywhere. Seriously, it's the cutest, loveliest, wonderful place to stay. The parking is a little irksome but that's the price you pay for staying in the middle of a busy downtown. It wasn't that bad and that explain the location and process perfectly.

A great little boutique hotel with character, charm, and hospitality! We loved staying here as it was centrally located, clean, comfortable, and friendly. We were in room 15 which is on the top floor (other than the rooftop bar) and has a window and desk space. Highly recommend staying here while in Boone! We had trouble knowing which room to reserve when booking- so a few notes that might be helpful but make sure to check out the descriptions on their website. Rooms 1-5 are in the basement which has less natural light but will give you direct walk out to the back entrance to the hotel. Room 6 is the only room on the lobby level and is ADA accessible. The 2nd and 3rd floors have a mix of rooms some with exterior windows and some with small portico windows. Rooms 10 and 11 are suites and have windows. We stayed in 15 which does have an exterior window and is beautiful!

Wonderful weekend get away! Love the quaint bar, live music and friendly staff. Excellent service and very clean. Unable to use roof top bar due to weather but the bar on the mail floor was equally inviting. Wonderful continental breakfast included which was a nice surprise. Perfect location in Boone.

I’m in love with the Horton Hotel. I watched it grow from an empty space into a beautiful work of art. Through instagram I was able to see the changes and even participated in some decorating decisions when asked which color or fabric I preferred for a room or space in the hotel. It was fun to feel a part of its growth into the amazing boutique hotel it is today. The staff are the Absolute Best in the world. So friendly and helpful and have such kind spirits. Thank you for providing a beautiful and very comfortable hotel in Boone. I look forward to my next visit with great anticipation!!!

Also, there is metered parking along the street in front of hotel that are free after 5 PM and a few handicapped spaces always free if you are handicapped.

Yes, our rooftop is open to the entire public during lounge operating hours only (currently those hours are Tue-Sun 4pm till 10pm). We have soda available, coffee, hot tea, and a non-alcoholic elixir available in addition to handcrafted cocktails, beer, and wine. Our rooftop will be staffed with servers and bartending staff come late spring, summer, and fall. While the rooftop is not currently staffed due to inconsistent weather, our lobby lounge is available for dining and for beverage service.
