It's cool for local bands. The elevated floor is nice some short people will be able to see the bands (like myself) They don't seem to "sell out" they'll just keep packing people in there none stop. It is a fire hazard and someone that would be in a situation would have a hard time getting out. Most people are zoned out of their minds so EMS would have a difficult time getting in. The audio system isn't very good. There's a lot of highs and very little lows. Sound check seems to be lacking. Wear ear plugs if you come here. Drinks are also over priced. $17 for an 12 OZ IPA isn't worth it. Go have drink at Buzz! And save yourself A LOT. They keep the water stations FILLED up. So that's a HUGE plus. If you're prone to being anxious stay within comfortable levels. Stay safe!

Great venue. Easy to find and accessable via public transportation. Several good spots to see on the floor plus they have a balcony/upper level. Down one star for their seemingly non-existent COVID policy. Some staff were wearing mask others were not. Given the number of people in and out of the venue on any given night seems like a poor choice for employees to play russian roulette with covid.

The venue itself was really nice, security was quick and painless, only real down side is the cost of a couple of drinks. I guess when it comes to concerts you have to expect to get robbed at the bar. Otherwise sound was good building is a 1914 building so it was cool.

Saw Fontaines DC play here, and this is my first show in LA, super cool venue has an old timey feel and the acoustics are great, great show too will definitely come again! Was a lil scared at first because its by skid row but its not that bad during the day.

no.
There's bleachers up stairs or you can go into prufrock pizzeria they have dine in seating
EXCEL AND WHIPLASH is an all ages show.
Is this for the AJJ show? Per bands request ALL GUESTS need to be fully vaccinated to attend which is 2 weeks after final dose.
I'm pretty sure you can I took them,I took my 14 to see Chase Atlantic there
no they cant. there are multiple all ages shows. if it is specific 18+ they WILL BE denied access.
There's a parking lot across from the theater but it cost money and I don't know how much tho
I think that's for "industry" and guests of the bands or whatever. I don't think there are ticket options for that, at least not when I went.
Yes just remember if the venue gets crowded somebody will step in your toes
There's seats upstairs but it may be VIP only. It's a slanted floor, so it's standing room only. But call ahead to be sure of what accommodations they can make for you, if any.
Use common sense. If you have a spiked or bullet belt that has potential to be uses as a weapon to hurt someone else it's not allowed. But if the spikes are soft or the bullets not pointed or plastic it should be fine
Call and ask because it varies by act; basically it's up to the artist.
Parking at Pershing Square is only 7 dollars. I usually park there and walk to the Regent. There are lots of people around and it is safe.
Not really. There are restaurants but they are closed before the concerts are over. If you wsnt food close then go before you sttend the show
Yes
No... They don't require the booster.
Full bar with cocktails. There's also the adjacent Love Song Bar next door.
There is a possible chance they may require proof of a negative covid test upon entry. I recently went to a show there and i had my vax card and they still wanted me to show proof of a negative test (which i had to purchase at the drugstore around the corner $25) before they would let me enter. I would say call the venue and ask. Either way tests are available to children and infants.
No
Sorry no backpacks whatsoever
Maybe 400
There's a bleacher upstairs but sometimes that's reserved for VIP.
wheelchairs
Yes
All tickets are standing and generally the same price depending on the concert
Yes. Your best bet is to arrive early and go directly upstairs there's usually about 5 or 6 stools available... Also the balcony IMO is the best place to watch a show from.
It depends on the band's policy. The Regent states that cameras are not allowed, but that may not be regularly enforced. I got a media pass from a band, and got full access.
No. They had a sign about weed/vape paraphernalia and confiscating it if they find some. But they didn't look or pat down
I think like most public venues that is a hard no unless it's a service animal
Check your ticket. It will say on it whether it's a print at home or mobile ticket
If your in a wheel chair the floor is flat and you would be able to get one down on the bottom level just don't go on the left side where the steps are it's flat enough for wheelchair
Yes
I don't no about that all I no is there are church services held every sunday in the theater.
Use your brain, stop smoking so much weed.
Usually meet and greets is something that you pay extra for and either happens before or after. Unless it's a small band, then after they get off stage at the merch table.
I'll be honest I've never seen anyone wearing one.
You would have to check the website, some shows are 21 n over and others are not!!
Quick search on the Facebook event page DOORS: 7:00 EGRETS ON ERGOT: 7:30 TARTAR CONTROL: 8:15 GO BETTY GO: 9:00 YOUTH BRIGADE: 9:45 TSOL: 11:00
I have been there when its relatively cold and rainy outside. And it was plenty warm inside. I imagine that's greatly to do with the large number of people inside keeping it warm.
If the show calls for 21+ then I don't think so.
I don't believe the theatre is 21+ unless specified by the event. When I went 21+ who were planning on drinking got a bracelet and those underage didn't. Hope that helps
Not if the show's 18+
Regent Theater checks everyone's ID at the door and then again at the bar. It will probably be alright since it's only 4 days after it expires.
Now...
Midnight
Probably
They will let photographers near the front of the stage
Ask, an make sure it is 18 and over. I went to the Bosstones and. Gentleman had his 5 year old son, it was his favorite band. He had sound proof ear protection. They didn't go into the pit/ floor area. They stayed up by the bar area.
Shouldn't have trouble getting in, should have trouble being allowed to drink without an ID, temp ID won't work for the bar
Depends if you get searched or not. Just be willing to take it back to your car if you do.
They usually open only days they have events. Checked online the have an event until the 31st. Keep calling and they should have ur card.
We offer some alternative programming from Movies to podcasts to Flea Markets.
No
Just went to their site its Every 1st Sunday of the Month...😄😄👍👍🙌🙌
No as far as I know marijuana is not publicly consumable. I can also guess that continued usage and disregard for the public, will only create stricter laws as well as higher penalties
Yes
Check the status of your purchase through the ticket website. It should tell you if you need to print your tickets or if they will be at will call.
It looked like they had their own, in-house security crew. If you are planning an event there, the price may include security staff. Good luck.
It ALWAYS depends on the event they are having. If the event is 21 over then yes if it's all ages the show will specify specifically.
Most the shows here are 18,19, and 21 plus up..it's very METAL.. I wouldn't recommend it for kids. Sounds loud and great so if you do bring kids bring earmuffs! Best of luck!
I would say no? It's a concert venue not a club. It's set up like a live theatre so unless your favorite salsa artist is in town it might not be the place for you. Hope this was helpful. Overall it's a great show venue and the staff are really friendly. Good luck! :)
