Great place to start a hike to sand cave and the white rocks over look come early because parking can be limited due to popularity of this area.

It's a 4.5 mile one way with intense uphill the entire way. Pack light, ie water and camera. I lugged about 30 pounds of stuff with me including camera stuff, and it killed me. Also, dont take the side trail to white rocks on your way up. Take it on the way back. When you exit the cave go right and past the waterfall. There will be signage pointing you to the view of white rocks. That way you won't add up unnecessary mileage. I logged 11 miles total when I did this, and wish i hadn't hiked the white rocks side trail on my way back down the main path. Also a great trail for birders if you go early in the morning and it's the right season.
