Before I went to Montare I was at the point where I was angry each and every day that I woke up. I didn’t want to kill myself, I just didn’t want to be alive. So when I found Montare, it’s one of few places that brings in separate people to do group therapy. From the Head of the house, to the individual therapist, to staff then the chef. The entire experience was amazing. I left valuing and loving myself. I left with the most amazing tools for continuing my journey to staying healthy and to healing. I had 30 years of scares to heal. I now live in today, I never look back and the best thing is what used to be storms are now just rain showers. I would recommend Montare a 1000 times over!!! It changed my life in so many ways and all are for the better. I am more than thankful and blessed to have had that amazing team help me through my most painful struggles. Honestly I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for all of their love and support!!

I can’t say enough to express my gratitude for the care my son received from Montare at Costa Colima. They truly care for and respect their clients. My son came back a second time after he became unstable from a less considerate outpatient facility—Costa helped him back to stability a second time. Shout out to Kat—program director extraordinaire, and Michael—skilled and caring therapist, and all the others that made my son feel loved and supported. My son will also give a great review.

Learning how to live with a mental health condition is extremely difficult and, in some cases, tragically, impossible. I was one of those who were incapable to benefit from any treatment due to the complexity of my mental issues. Under their care I was able to comprehend, believe, and accept how desperately I need help. Nobody told me that directly, they made ME understand it and that alone gave me a chance to save my life. The whole team, literally, the whole team deliver their knowledge, experience, and talents in a way that is caring, compassionate, and efficient. I won’t name anyone because everyone means so much to me but for the first time, I truly trust that there are people who genuinely care and that they will selflessly do everything they can to help others. Thank you for absolutely everything because every single decision that was made had my recovery as the ultimate goal.

After all these years, jumping to different programs I thought I would not find a program that could help me, that would want me to succeed and where I would feel so motivated, willing to fight everyday... Then my dad actually came upon, Renewal Behavioral Health. As soon as I entered the doors, I felt nervous and wanted to go home just like every person does when they go into a new program, but you have to give every place a chance and I did. Thank goodness I did because Renewal changed my life. Every single staff member is there to help and make you feel cared about and welcomed, nobody is left to feel judged and alone. The therapy is unlike anywhere else, Michael my therapist saved my life and Ashley the clinical director who was my family therapist brought my family back together and I will be forever grateful for the two of them. Kat who runs the whole program cares so much about all of the clients and is like a mom to all, she makes you feel safe and loved. The owners stop by and come on site whenever they have a chance and see how everything is going. That itself stood out to me right away because many programs you won’t ever see the owners. The owners care about each and every one of the clients here at Renewal. I highly recommend this program to any adults struggling with mental health, I went in seeing no light at the end of the tunnel and now I finally see so much brightness into the future and so much hope! Thank you Renewal!
