I bought a vibrator at this store on Saturday, 12/18/21, and they didn't have 2 AA batteries to check the product before I left the store. I pointed out their no refund policy and the woman who sold me the vibrator assured me that if I got home and the vibrator was defective, she would exchange it or refund me my money since she was unable to check the vibrator in the store. She did warn me to come in at a time when she was working to avoid a hassle with someone else. I asked her when she would next be working, and she told me Monday (12/20/21). When I got home, I discovered that the vibrator did not work and I immediately called the store to inform them that I would be returning to exchange the item (a 40 minute drive). No one picked up. When I got to the store later that night, a guy was now working behind the counter. He told me that he did not know how to do an exchange or refund. I returned to the store on Monday and the manager was working the counter, not the woman from whom I bought the vibrator. She told me that she could not do a refund or an exchange because it was company policy. I told her what I conveyed above, that her salesperson did not have batteries to check the vibrator before I left and for that reason, she assured me that I could return the item if it was defective. She flatly refused and tried to make a comparison to shopping at Walmart. She asked me if they put batteries in items at Walmart to check them before you leave their store. I said no they don't, but they are not selling intimate items at Walmart that require an assurance that they work before leaving their store and at Walmart, they will simply refund you the money, which you are refusing to do. I would not be surprised to discover that they are running a scam at this store (i.e. buying marked-down defective items and selling them for a profit). In a store, which requires that intimate battery-operated items be checked before they leave the store, how do you not have batteries available to check them? It was also convenient for them that the original salesperson, who assured me that I could return the item, was not working on the specific day she said she would be working to fulfill her promise to me. It should also be noted that I also called prior to my third 40-minute drive to this store to confirm that the original salesperson would be working that day, and they again did not answer their phone. MY RESPONSE TO COMPANY'S RESPONSE The company's pathetic response to this review reinforces my claim that this company may be pulling a scam on its customers. The company did not, in any way, respond to my detailed complaint but instead baselessly and frivolously referenced "the supply chain" and "the government" as excuses for its poor customer service. The bottom line is that an employee for Wild Things Lingerie & Novelty Store promised that I could return the item if it was defective and because they could not check whether it was defective in their store. They reneged on this promise and STOLE $40.65 from me in the process. These FACTS have absolutely nothing to do with "the supply chain" or "the government".

Mask as well as hand sanitizer that you can use upon coming in and again as you leave the store personnel also wipes things down every so often on their shift Including the door handles and counters gloves should also be available if you want them also social distancing ...
