I've never seen such a badly maintained campground I'm my life, And this review is coming from a 20 year retired Park Ranger.campsites needed mowed and blowed.the fishing pier overlooks a beutifull lake filled with duckweed couldn't fish off the dock if you wanted too. the dock needed presure washed.sad to see such a poorly maintaind facility don't waste your time!!!!!

Great place to camp with family or a group of friends. Don't forget a telescope for the dock at night. Low light pollution really makes for great star gazing.

Beautiful place, the volunteer is so nice. Lake right near camp. Water and bathrooms. Love it!

It is a beautiful camping ground, you feel like you are 100's of miles from society but only 15 minutes away from town. There is a windixie and CVS just down the road in case you forget something. It is a primitive camp site so no running water there is an out house that is kept very clean. The lake is beautiful but seems like you need a boat or kayak to get to the fish. No one caught anything on the pier all weekend.

Their web site has it listed as $8 per night. There are only 14 sites.
I slept in a hammock there two weeks ago. Most of the sites are treed on at least one side but there are a few that are not, so make sure you get there early. Bring your own water for drinking and cooking.
