The owner/operator is dishonest, with the worst attitude and manners you can imagine. We made a booking that included in the price one small animal, via bookings.com. The owner would not honor the deal, wanted $20 extra and in cash. In cash because a credit charge would be refunded via bookings.com. Pool was closed "due to COVID" in summer 2022 (really??? not important to me, but may be important to a family with kids). The room was clean, but stunk of cheap disinfectant or some weird cleaner chemical. I did not mind the old, bashed-in furniture, or the cracks on the floor. I did mind the attitude. This owner/operator does not want to run a motel, hates the place, is just milking it, and if you stay there, you will feel it too. I stayed ONLY because I had friends waiting for me to book in and move on to other pre-planned activities. Otherwise I would have forfeited the pre-paid room and would have booked elsewhere for the night.

Clean & decent place to stay. Anyone that doesn't think this place is clean & safe, has a personal issue. Awesome around the fireplace at night. Friendly residents & staff. Stay here! The nicest place in Silver Springs by far. The most comfortable beds in this city.

Some might call it quaint. Some might call it old. The decor is from the past, but the place is clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is a little bit remote, but some might find the extra 10-15 minutes of driving (from I75) worth it.

I don't complain about lodging very much but you need to know before you book. By far the worst place I've ever stayed. We were passing through the town and weren't familiar with the area. We booked because the pics looked decent and they accepted pets. We first got there and they tried to charge double for our dogs so we went to leave and they chased us and said they will only charge half a deposit. We then booked and got to our room. The room and neighbors were chain smoking and smoke was coming through our door. No coffee pot or any amenities. No reception on the Wi-Fi. You have to be right next to the office for a signal. We didn't have hot water for 2 days. They said they would fix it and then had to run for 20 minutes to get it very mildly warm which only lasted 5 minutes. It's in a rough part of town which we didn't realize until after we paid. Forget about a refund. The cherry on top is when checkout comes they literally lock your room door at 9am. You better have everything out or you're not getting back in the room. The front desk people are very rude. Please for the love of God stay some place else. Anywhere else.
