I Was denied service for chest congestion by P.A. Carolian because I said " chest pressure in my lungs ". The medical assistant said since I said" chest pressure" they won't take me because it has to do with my heart and to go to the emergency room, he said I can't take back what I said....wow! I told the medical assistant that this has nothing to with my heart it's my lungs and P.A. Carolian still refused to see me after I corrected them. These people are just lazy and don't want to take care of you, they used a scapegoat from my wording not to see me even when I corrected them.

Last time here before covid everyone was great. This time i strongly not recommend to come in if you need something simple bc they want to obtain a lot of history information plus lots of blood work in order to provide you with a simple medication. Nurse practioner Christina claims that she doesn't feel comfortable providing a prescription that you have already being taking for years if you can't provide that information on the spot. Her assessment doesn't involve listening to your lungs or heart, or anything at all. BP, saturation, heart rate, temp. Taken by someone else. She doesn't ask anything pertaining the medication you need. She wants you to provide a clean bill of health before prescribing your same old medication taken for years. Never again I will come back. Seek elsewhere.

I just got back from a few weeks of travel to central America and have a stomach bug and wanted to get taken care of quickly. I have full coverage medical insurance through the VA so I called them to find the closest location I'm covered at and they sent me here and told me to bring my passport or driver's license. They also sent me with instructions for the urgent care to verify eligibility and file the claim easily. I showed up with my passport, drivers license, social security card, birth certificate and told them the VA sent me. I showed them the instructions, #1 is call the VA to verify my social and date of birth, and they said "we already have information on how to verify you, can I have your insurance card?" I explained no the VA doesn't have an "insurance card" - it's an identification card. I'm not from the area, just got back from traveling (you should never travel abroad with military related identification) but the VA would verify if they called and I'd be happy to send them a copy when I get home in a week if they still needed that. A VA identity card just verifies social and date of birth, and I had those official documents so there was no issue verifying me. They refused to see me without an "insurance card" which doesn't exist. They refused to call the VA to verify me. I called the VA to ask what happened and was told " they should have just called us, that's how this program works and you had more than enough identification" and recommended another location. ***UPDATE - Later that night I ended up in the ER with ecoli, norovirus, and giardia. I was there for 8 hours and was given 2 bags of IV fluid and antibiotics. They were upset that this location would not see me, proper medical care at an earlier time would have prevented it all.

Yes we accept healthnet medical and straight medical! Open everyday 8am-8pm.
Yes we proudly accept Kaiser at our facility - the fact that you have to go to a Kaiser facility is a common misconception. The only insurance we currently do not accept currently is Facey Medical Group - Thanks!
