This place was absolutely amazing if you truly appreciate old cars. Definitely alot of car history under one roof. Had a great time here and the staff is truly amazing and friendly definitely doing this again

The museum is awesome, but if you go you have to do the $10, 2 hour tour in the building next door - thatβs where the real show is. Exquisite cars and things from times long ago. ππ

The cars in the collection are beautiful and you can see them for free which is nice of the owners to let people enjoy their collection. Eduardo explained to us the history behind the collection and gave us a lot of insight to further appreciate the collection. Would definitely go with plenty of time so you can truly take in all the detail and beauty of each vehicle.

If I could give it more stars I would! What an amazing, breathtaking array of cars! The main museum is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday and you can visit for free. We incidentally arrived at 1:15 and learned that for $10 per person we could get a tour at the large multistory building across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour and couldnβt believe that it was only $10!! The condition and maintenance of these cars is impeccable. The selection of cars includes rare models that youβve probably never heard of. What a treat and a feast for the eyes. We concluded our day with a 3:45 tour of the train in the back with the California 100 car. Great example of how the upper class used to travel. We highly recommend this museum and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

It has been The Nethercutt museum since its opening, but it is at the Merle Norman distribution facility. JB Nethercutt was a founder of Merle Norman Cosmetics along with his aunt Merle.
Yes, if you are on a scheduled tour with a group you will hear many early musical instruments and a pipe organ, all which will be mechanically played and demonstrated.
They do have some glass as well as fine porcelain figurines and sculptures.
Continue to the 5 north, And exit on roxford left or right to san Fernando rd. Right on SF rd. To bledsoe and make a left on bledsoe to the museum parking on left building. Good luck.
Only we can get on to the train which is outside, cars are not allowed to touch
Yes, plenty of comfortable seating.
Only a recording at call number. Apparently still closed.
Admission is free.. However, you have to call them to book yourself and anyone else who is coming with you for the tour. Tour times are very specific.. I think I remember that they are 2or 3 times a day. You do the tour in a group of about 30 people at once. Hope this helps. If you just show up with out calling first, they won't let you in.
The Nethercutt Collection Tours will be suspended from February 12 - May 8, 2019 while the building is being updated. The Nethercutt Museum building across the street will be open as usual, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM - 4:30 PM. You may call 818-364-6464 or email now to make a tour reservation for when they resume on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
I dont know check the website or call. Whenever you go you'll have a wonderful time
Yes. South side open Thursday Friday and Saturday. I think 1030 and 2. Reservations a must.north side open Tuesday thur Saturday walk in. Great place
It was free in July. Why not call them to ask? You have to reserve ahead, you can't just walk in off the street, because the tours are timed. You can't just wander around by yourself, so when you call to reserve a tour time ask if the tickets are still free.
There are two separate buildings, the Museum and the Collection. Both are free of charge. No reservation is required for the Museum, but it is necessary for the Collection, which contains some of the most singular cars, as well as a lot of custom radiator mascots and a room of music machines. Worth the visit.
You can get the 3rd edition and the Deluxe edition on Amazon.com
Reservations are not required except for the building across the street from Nethercutt Museum which can be made by the Docent at the information desk when you enter the Museum. Enjoy!!
The eggs are located in the Tower of Beauty, across the street from the museum. You must make a reservation for Saturdays tours. I suggest going to El Tarasco restaurant for lunch after your experience. Best Margaritas in Los Angeles! Cheers
Free
You can just go to their web sites or you can call them
