Very comfortable mattresses and sheets. Not normal hotel bedding! Regular size shower, not the normal mini showers we usually see in motels. However, could only get warm water, not hot. We arrived after hours so owners had left for the day. No bedding for foldout couch was in the room. I called and was told they don’t leave that unless requested, though they were aware we had five guests and needed that bed. It worked out though, once we folded the bed out. Dead bugs behind couch and mattresses had very visible dirt and sand on it. It was also very flimsy (even considering it was on a foldout couch). My son wanted to just sleep on the actual couch anyway. It was comfortable and in good shape.

Great location, right on the beach. Family friendly, and convenient. Fit me in quickly for a last minute one night getaway with my husband and kids, and even offered and offered later checkout for an additional fee. There was one lady, I swear I wish I had caught her name, she really went above and beyond for the inn. She was welcoming, pleasant, and covered all the bases to make sure your stay was one to remember. I really appreciate her, she was fantastic. However, upon leaving, I couldn't find anyone to be able to check out. I waited by the office (no one is allowed inside right now because of CoVid), for quite some time trying to check out and pay the additional fee for the late check out. No one was there or ever came, so I slid my key into the flap they open to speak to you through the window. My card was on file for the reservation, so I wasn't stressing over the fee, thinking they would charge it to my card. We live about 2.5 hours away, and halfway through the trip received a call from a completely different lady, accosting us for leaving, and explaining that she watched me pack up my car and she was in the office the whole time. Baffled, because the flap made noise when I barely scraped the key in so she would have heard it.... Then asks me about the whereabouts of the key. Well, ma'am, its inside the office you said you never left. She ended up charging the card on file anyways.. like I figured she would, but come on... I really really enjoyed the feel of the stay, until that phone call. The grounds are really beautiful, almost like a piece of paradise. The flowers, the privacy, the fountains. Gorgeous. Had planned to make reservations for another weekend when I got back to my house as well as check on the fee. However, after that phone call and how rude and accusatory she was, I don't think we will be back.
