Went to Michael's seafood for dinner, this was our first time at the restaurant and visiting Carolina Beach. There was about an hour wait and parking can be hard to get because it sits in a strip mall and there aren't that many spaces. We were lucky and got 2 spaces near the restaurant. The staff was friendly, none of the entrees are fried, either grilled, baked or broiled. I started with the seafood chowder, it was very thick and contained a good portion of seafood. For the entree I order the mixed grill which was sword fish, scallops and shrimp. My two sides were smashed potatoes and broccolini. My daughter had the kids meal. Everything was seasoned well and cooked just right. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Overall food was good. Service was good as well. The chowder was as good as everyone has mentioned. Salads were good (house, caesar, beet). My mom had the beet salad and said it was delicious. The steak dinner was good. The loaded tots were super yummy especially with ranch. The shrimp and scallop scampi was good but could have used a bit more scamp sauce. The catch of the day, tile fish, was good and they were accommodating to make it scampi style with pasta. The galley sampler was good and you're able to customize it however you like. Overall everything was good but I have had better seafood on the island.

We enjoyed our visit here for dinner. Our server, Wendy, did a great job! I had shrimp tacos and Brussel sprouts. My husband had seafood mac and cheese. Both were great! But first we had seafood chowder. I'd go back for another bowl! Don't miss it!

My one and only seafood experience while in North Carolina, Michael's did not disappoint. As a Michigan native, I'm surrounded by beautiful, big bodies of water. Unfortunately, while there are fresh water fish a-plenty, sometimes a girl wants some crab and other sea life! My friend stayed with the tried 'n true land grazers, i.e. steak. I had the seafood chowder and the seafood pasta. It was very good, if not just a teensy bit dry, but as the proteins were perfectly cooked, I was a happy camper. If and when I get back down Wilmington-way for another visit, I'll stop by Michael's.

Unfortunately not but Christmas Eve there is a special dinner.
Crab legs are sold by the pound at seasonal prices.
I saw employees wearing face masks. We sat in the patio area by ourselves, so I'm not sure what the cleaning procedures are.
We sat in the outside open patio for lunch. That was the first week of December. Table's were separated. Great service. Love Michael's, we also did call in and pick up.👍
June first we ate inside for a wonderful dinner. They also have outside seating and take out.
Don't know but they have the best seafood chowder hands down
