The store is nice. But they should learn how to restock shelves correctly. They put the right product behind the wrong product. So you have to dig for the correct product.

NEVER EVER buy cabinets from this store in Cape Carteret NC unless you have a year for the process. Started trying to get measurements, design etc 12/15. here we are 4/12 cabinets have been sitting in my kitchen floor in the box for 7 weeks waiting on the installer. Spoke to Lowes corp once and they said they would get back to me within 48 hours. Well 2 weeks later and still nothing! Manager at the Cape Carteret store does not return phone calls. Been sending emails to the project person in charge of install and no response. I will never buy cabinets from them again. UPDATE: Here we are on June 1. 5 1/2 months from the start of this project. Cabinets are partially installed. Missing several items. Granite people measured a month ago for the granite. 4 weeks later we call to ask the status. They said the granite we chose is now out of stock and no date when it will be back in stock. They knew which one we wanted and had our measurements so they should have pulled the granite for our project. THIS IS A FREAKING NIGHTMARE!!!! Do not get kitchen cabinets and countertops from Lowes.

830pm and I walk out with $700 in lumber. As I'm walking out there are 2 guys rounding up carts. It's almost closing time. As I'm coming out they speedily disappear. Granted, the cart bin next to my truck is overflowing but these guys decide its time to disappear. I even passed both of them with my full cart of 12ft lumber as I walked to my truck. I proceed to load my truck all alone. Which is fine I've done it myself for 20 years. But I'm guessing Lowe's must have changed their rule about helping customers load lumber. Maybe it only applies at closing time. I look around and the only outside cart bin that has carts is the one next to my truck. Guess these carts can remain outside.

I was in and out within a few minutes. They had several cashiers working, so there was no line...for a change. I still have a hard time with getting anyone's attention when I'm shopping. It would be nice to have even a smile and nod as you pass them. The worst issue is when there are a few of them just chatting and they don't look at you.
