TAKEOUT ONLY! Since covid they've put up a door and haven't taken it down. You will be trying to talk through plexiglass and standing in the heat. Super slow service. Ordered, got a call 20 minutes later saying it'll be another 40 mins. Arrive to pickup 1:20 mins after ordering and waited another 30 minutes to pick up food. One dish was too salty to eat, and the other two were bland. This place used to be amazing, but since covid it's really gone downhill. Sad, this used to be our go-to place. Won't be coming here again.

So disappointed. After being a regular here for years I was treated with the utmost disrespect last night. I ordered food online, picked it up and when I got home I realized it wasn't my order. Drove all the way back and gave the lady the food and said it's not what I ordered. For about 30 minutes she kept showing me someone else's order slip and asking if it was me. (We both had the same first name.) Instead of just making my order, she kept insisting that the order was mine. Eventually I asked for a refund and left. I will not be going back. And to New York China - change your method of pick-up. Many people have the same first name.

Dad's favorite place and mine when I visit in beautiful NC. Personal favorites are the chicken and pecans, chicken in garlic sauce (extra spicy) luncheon specials. Amazing amount of food for the price. Wonton soup is amazing as well. My only wish is they would open up a sister restaurant in my town.
